Democrats use the same mechanism that McConnell used to give a trillion in tax cuts to billionaires, to give 15 dollars an hour to workers helping the country to survive a pandemic.
Employers are not concerned about the 15 hr minimum.

Thus for them having opower is not a means to an end (such as helping the country) but rather is the end, iself, help themselves no matter the country.
But sadly, it seems many of their followers have a similar attitude and think that keeping Republicans in office and thus feeding the rich that somehow that wealth will trickle down to them as well, thus they seem to be both (perhaps) just as greedy and but gullible (for sure) to boot.
