  1. not going to lie, the first time I read the title I thought they were talking about the drug crack, which would explain a lot actually

    1. @Schlomo Baconberg does she play the male or female role in a relationship? Or has there been another letter added to their alphabet?

    2. Hard to say whose crack has what in it when it comes to MSNBC! This is an elitist network that covers for the ruling class that now “occupy” the Capital! MSNBC is owned by Silicon Valley another elitist ruling class region! I lived in Venezuela I have seen the ruling class and their media before! Who protects the working class? Its not the “kakistocracy” that is in DC now! Google that “k” word! Pelosi’s fence. That should be a clue!

    1. @MRJTV The fed doesn’t fund any elections currently. But there is a push to publicly fund elections to remove big donors from the equation. Whether that is for Federal elections only or it includes state elections, I’m not sure.

    2. @MRJTV My question is if federal elections (Presidency, Senators and Representatives) were publicly funded, would that now make it budgetary item? Seems so to me.

  2. We shouldn’t have to rely on stuff like this. If we can’t work together then it needs change. If someone is blocking progress for the good of the people then they need removed

    1. @Jkrogs18 yes sure he has been a lefty socialist for the last 40 years in senate… joe is apparently not the only one with dementia here

    2. @Jkrogs18 trump did the same, wiped out laws that kept big companies from dumping toxic waste into the air and waterways. Deregulated energy and power companies allowing them to cut corners and put people at risk for big profits.

    1. @padywac1970 Since you asked it directly I will answer your last question first:Brought up in a christian household and having studied religions, I firmly believe praying for yourself is a good thing that brings comfort and support to a lot of people. Prayoing for everyone is just of way of trying to prove you are “a good person, hoping God/Allah/Jaweh/Buddha or every God of peoples chosing is watching you do it.
What strikes me is your stand on lets listen to eachother, in normal circumstances that would be a good thing, however looking at the divide whioch startyed simply because a man of color was elected president and has exploded undfer Trump. just because people pointed out that what he was saying most of the time were straight lies. Since 2015I have been trying to debate/ communicate with Trump people and “conservatives”, not from an I am right position but from a lets objectively see what the facts are and thus start from common ground. The weird thing is that has proven to be nearly impossible, everytime. This “both sides are at fault” is just as dumb as the “Karma will get him or her” line, namely a cop out from taking action. Even after the world watched Trump agitate and directing his followers to try and overturn democracy (remember Trump was still in power, it was his government, yet they were sent to overthrow a future Government), we are now at a point that we start looking into is Trump really to blame and hear Republicans claim both sides were at fault and or it did not happen.
What I propose is to move forward, just like you do when a little child doesnot want to move forward, (you start walking and eventually the child comes crying and running after you) start correcting the wrongs (Healthcare, Infrastructure, Liveable wages, Education, Military overspending) and watch some of the lost sheep gradually come back after seeing and benefitting from the results.

    2. @FILMkijkertje thank you for responding. That said, I’m on the opposing side of the way you see things. I’m a conservative libertarian. I did not vote for Trump the first time. I thought he was full of crap. But I saw him do something that I have never seen any other POTUS do…he kept his promises to his constituents. That’s more than I can say about the last 5 presidents. That, and many more things is why I like Trump. But, I’d rather hear your side of any one topic. Maybe we can find common ground. What do you think of the current situation on the southern border?

    3. @padywac1970
Then why pray? If you are not looking for god to change their minds, then forget prayer. Praying is wrong only in the sense that it it useless – it is not bad, just misguided.

    4. @padywac1970
You do realize that people on the other side are praying for the opposite of what you want, don’t you? And Trump barely kept ANY of his promises, so stop praying and start studying!

    1. @Williany Amill why do you think those are the only professions in the country? Why do you think no one else works? Free healthcare would take a major bill away from every one who is working hard to feed their families and allow them to make a better life for themselves. Those farmers and construction workers would benefit from this law.

    2. @rodolfo schultz let me be more precise. They don’t have enough democrats willing to pass it in the Senate.

    3. not enough support even from the democrat side, and I don’t know if that falls under budget reconciliation……Americans need even more misery caused by the nightmare that is the American healthcare system I guess to change their minds…..we need to get rid of the filibuster…like yesterday…that’s a good start

    1. They could just fire the Parliamentarian if they rule differently and hire someone who will. Republicans did it with the tax cuts. Not sure why Dems are so hesitant to do this.

    2. Great now they tax big corporations and big corporations pass it down to us with higher prices. It’s a win win!

    3. @L P sounds like since you’ve been wining prior to this, what benefit did u get when the big corporations god huge breaks any raise, min wave still the same sounds like you’ve been loosing don’t be ignorant. That trickle down effect was all to get the break they wanted Then radio silence.

  3. I feel like Oprah had a hand in this, “LEGISLATION, PEOP-L-L-L-LE! YOU get a bill, and YOU get a bill, and YOU get a bill…”.

    1. hehehe soon it will be “You get a health plan, and you get a health plan… everybody gets a health plan!” and about damned time too.

    2. @Travis Brown (yep!) “… and YOU get a free education, and YOU get the right to vote, and YOU get the right to choose, and YOU get a gun… well, maybe not YOU, but YOU…”

  4. They need to pass Medicare for all asap so that by the time next election comes, all the anti medicare for all people will realize they like it and never vote for another republican ever

    1. @Tormenta de fuego americana

Not personally. But they aren’t shy about it. The US treats about 50,000 Canadians per year for cancer because that’s not the type of disease you can afford to wait to treat.

    2. @Nameless Progressive Clone I have read many accounts from Canadians on their healthcare and NONE have complained about it. Urgent care is addressed quickly. Only non-emergencies wait. Those who can afford to pay on their own will come to the US for those treatments. This is what I’ve learned from all those commenting on their healthcare in Canada. If they get cancer there, they don’t go broke from it. It’s all paid for. I question your numbers on Canadians who come here for cancer treatments. Source?

    3. @LE MCG Thank you for your reasonable comment. He is wrong. I suspect on purpose. Please see my reply to him.

    4. Sounds great, whose going to pickup the tab for it all? Do you know that doctors billing medicare isnt a guarantee they will be paid? Even when they are its usually a rate set by the government.
Lets imagine we do get medicare for all, why would a doctor accept medicare patients if he knows he will be paid less? Should we also then pass a law making it mandatory for all doctors to accept medicare patients?

    5. @West House The tab? Well, you can pay health insurance premiums and have no guarantee that you will be covered or how much you will be covered or pay same, or close to, in increased taxes and be 100% covered. As far as doctor’s cost, there will a set rate for each treatment. No more $1,000`s difference between different hospitals for the same treatment. No more “run for profit” hospitals that care more about their bottom line than patient care. The auto repair industry has set prices across the board for their costs. Same can be done in medical. Go to healthcare forums and see how actual Canadians praise their healthcare system.

  5. Place your bets now! I’m thinking their next targets are health care and immigration. There’d better be a minimum wage hike and college debt relief snuck in there too.

  6. this is the best news for the country iv’e heard since i was born in the 50’s. go joe go get er done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. GQP can never again have majority or they will use the same tactics to destroy everything morally positive.

  8. McConnell will be getting a taste of what it feels like to be end-runned on a technicality. There will be lawsuits.

    1. @Jose Jones; Some ones code? I went to school under nuns and we where forced to learn the English Language, and now it is evolving back to the primitive ignorance it once was with pictographs and lines, that barely convey the thought and completely destroy the articulate progress that has been painstakingly made. It’s your ignorant fools’ world!

    2. 1. Stimulus Package
      2. Infrastructure Bill.
      3. $15 AN HOUR MINIMUM WAGE
      4. GRANT CITIZENSHIP TO DREAMERS

    1. @frog mann The dumbest person on the internet calling others stupid….how sad you racist white nationalist you.

    2. @Arie Fraiser boo hoo. anyone that isnt a brain dead libby is a racist. you poor widdle nancy boy.

    3. @frog mann No not anyone. At the moment in this conversation you are the only racist white nationalist here. If more ahould chime in I’ll point them out to you since you seem to confuse yourself with “anyone”. Not surprising though.

    4. @frog mann I do get tired of explaining this to the hard of thinking but here we go again. In the 19th Century and the first half of the 20th Century Southern Democrats were indeed the party of racism and the Republicans were the party of Lincoln. However in the 1960s a Democrat administration took the lead on Civil Rights and passed laws to desegregate society and ensure minority voting rights. At the same time the Republican Party under Nixon developed the Southern Strategy to exploit the racists of the Old Confederacy for political advantage and became the party of the racists and the KKK. In other words by the time LBJ admitted that the Democrat stance on Civil Rights would lose them the South for a generation (an estimate he was wildly optimistic in, it turns out) the parties had flipped. If you are going to use history to defend your positions you should at least understand the process and that it is an ongoing one. The world changes.
