We have always paid every single penny for what we have and I wouldn’t want it any other way. We’ve always believed in the rule of never spend money that you don’t have to spend and it’s been a great rule to live by. We’ve also chosen to have only one credit card instead of a bunch of them. It’s always smart to have at least one and that one is very seldom ever used but when we do, it’s paid in full the next billing. So what we do have to show because of our beliefs is a home that was fully paid off long before it even needed to be, no debt, and we’ve long been saving for retirement. Of course even while feeling so fortunate for all of that I still feel like so many other Americans and worry about our retirement years. Everyday we’re having our rightfully hard earned money stollen from right under our noses by the totally greedy and/or completely corrupt! I truly believe that it’s time to stop letting the president influence others with all of his nonsense and the hate that he seems to have for anyone that he feels is beneath him, which to him is everyone. We really need things to change in this country, so much is so long overdue! I sincerely hope that all of this hate for one another ends soon and for good! Like I have heard and so nicely said, we are one race, the human race and I hope that people will remember that. I have watched pious people and preachers in my church and they all hold the bible in front of them with two hands like they are cradling it and respecting its importance and Trump is holding above his head and waving it around and showing his lack of understanding of what the Bible actually stands for. I stopped attending church some years ago when my long preacher had left to move to a larger town and church and the man whom replaced him made me go to sleep and seem to lack enthusiasm or the ability to make passages relevant and understandable for the younger parishioners of which my son was one but I still respect the bible and religion.
