Also my condolences to Mr. Dinkins’s family.
Dinkins LOVED tennis and back in the 90’s would come to our club RIRC and we (pros) would hit with him. He had a nice 3.5 game. He was a sweet and nice guy. Thoughts to his family.
That’s lovely. 💗🙏🏾
Gday Luv
RiP what a Icon legend civil rights activist..
Certainly going to miss him leading the African American Parade
Prayers up sage down drum beaten
May you be in heaven a half hour before the devil knows you are dead
He was a Mayor who happened to be Black..
Harlem Native Yes Sir.
He was one of the best mayors NYC ever had. And he was given a hard time, all due to the color of his skin. Then Rudy came along and stole credit for all of Dinkin’s hard work.
Hells newest resident.
Rest in peace
Condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
May he rest in peace
RIP David 😕
My condolences 🙏🏿
Condolences to the family
He visited my Public school in 1992..I was so excited 😥
You had him and all I had was Phil Collins singing to me….as a child…😳 lol
This is so sad for real. It appears from these comments that he was an amazing man. I would much rather listen to him and his wisdom then have Phil Collins sing directly to me and grab my hand during his performance LOL. But that did change my status in school… not that I was looking for it…😏 it was definitely an experience.
They are together AGAIN💯🙏🏾RIP.O.W.E.R
👌and he was a good mayor etc. because…
oh, he’s noteworthy because of his skin…
THAT’S RACIST!
@Mr. Silbergleit Koch too, Rudy too.
Leave it to these neoliberal frauds at MSDNC to turn this into identity politics garbage
@Coco not nearly as much
The fact that you ASSUME he’s noteworthy, only based on the color of his skin, shows you are in fact racist. Why would you even go there unless you were?
@Caroline M. I did not write the headline. Neoliberals obsessed with identity politics did
Sincere condolences to the family of Honorable Mayor David Dinkins.
Nobody cares
@The Truth is Out Now the fact that you’re here and you made a comment, tells a different story.
Died of a broken heart.
History is treating him well now bc he just died & his successor has bcm…what he is.
The truth comes out over time. Dinkin cleaned up NYC. All the credit goes to him, and not the Italian mule that took over after him, who did absolutely nothing for NYC but rode on Dinkin’s successes.
This reminds me of Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds. That was a tragedy in itself. May his family find peace in this time of Sorrow..💔
May Mayor David Dinkins REST IN PEACE!!! ASHE’ AMEN!!!
My condolences and prayers to his family . May he RIP, i remember him when I lived in NY.
Heartfelt condolences to the Family and Friends of a Beloved Mayor. May his soul RIP😔
RIP Mr. Dinkins thanks for your contribution to 🇺🇸 as well as being motivated drive to becoming NYC 1st black mayor who inspired us black people to believe in the American dream RIP🙏🌺
