Let’s hope it is a contagion. We may be able to drag this country into being a cooperative venture, instead of the centralized totalitarianism that we get from Ottawa.
It already is as per the constitution and if they overreach they can go to court to address the issues
@ryan radcliffe Where it can be “interpreted” by the unelected, self-governing legal system. And their decisions can only be appealed by the Supreme Court. The unelected, self-governing legal system. Amazing how often the court’s interpretation of the constitution falls in line with the LPC’s desires. Everything that the federal government does is interpreted as a “reasonable infringement.” If every infringement on our rights is reasonable, than the constitution and the charter are useless. Just as they were intended to be by their architects..
@Harbinger343 those two things are completely different arguments because this bill literally just switches who takes who to court yet it’s still within the same court system, so are you saying this bill is useless if the judges are just liberal puppets and who decides what’s harmful to Alberta? Because this legalisation doesn’t clarify that so could citizens be harmful towards Albert?
Oh yes its “Ottawa” in its entirety. 😂
Taking these polls seriously is a much more pernicious “contagion”.
Funny how you lot love these polls when they confirm your biases and dismiss them the other 90% of the time. I especially love the ‘They Didn’t Ask Me’ retorts.
Lol nobody takes little nicky nanos seriously.
Go Alberta!
Especially when he’s a liberal bumsmoocher
Alberta Proud: The Whine and Cheesey Province
@DJ Well Dressed Manwould you like some pepper with that salt?
Alberta please separate then you can be sovereign to the hilt
0:14 👏👏👏👏take action✊
“Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move, it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye, and say, ‘No, *you* move’.”
@Mr. Ashenfire Our votes not counting.
@Mr. Ashenfire Trudeau and Biden continuing to supress the oil and gas industry while begging for the exact same product from Saudi Arabia and Venezuela
@Mr. Ashenfire It’s the inability to move the oil products mostly. Alberta provides a higher financial tribute to the capitol than the other provinces and yet is put on blast for the “dirty” resource that allows for the contribution. Also gun regulations. Probably some other things as well, but Trudeau is hurting our wallets and that is the main thing
EDIT: Also, there are ideological differences. Alberta is traditional and conservative and this is at odds with the current Liberal regime and its unprecedented flexing
@Mr. Ashenfire then you are not paying attention
@Mr. Ashenfire forgetting when Trudeau senior stole billions $ from AB and most of it disappeared
When provincial premier pushes back this hard you know there’s an issue with the feds.
Whiny child.
🎯
@Alan Macphail They miss the ole Daze of KING RALPH
@DJ Well Dressed Man DJ Paid Pony ….could you be anymore obvious? Nope.
A provincial premier who wasn’t elected in a regular election, but rather by barely securing party leadership by pandering to the nuttier side of the base. A provincial premier who’s behind in the polls, chasing issues that only animate the aforementioned base and having to repeatedly backtrack on signature promises.
The federal gov has gone way overboard in most areas and all provinces should be asserting themselves and pushing back against Ottawa.
Like what?
When you have a post modernist government this is what you get. I think I’ll identify as an Albertan.
I think all provinces should abandon this kangaroo governments!🦘
Yes, the Kangaroo government in COWBERTA.
Quebec started this disintegration. 2nd class citizens stated this whole thang.
Stay in your own lane, Nanos.
Ontario also needs to stand up against Trudeau
3:30 YES SEASONAL ILLNESS. SINCE WHEN DID SEASONAL COLDS ANS FLUE REQUIRE MASK MANDATES, UNTIL 2020 .
The Nanos guy is a paid mouth piece. Saskatchewan already passed similar legislation. An interesting sidebar here is the difference in carbon tax as it is applied across the country. Quebec pays 9 cents a litre and that is it. It won’t go up. So in 2030 when it might be 50cents elsewhere in Canada, it will still be 9 inQuebec. Yes they have a cap and trade setup, however, if it is a federal tax, it should be applied evenly across the country. So, Ms. Smith is doing a service for all Canadians with this by highlighting the hypocrisy . Additionally the oil refined in Quebec, and New Brunswick that comes from outside of the country does not have a carbon tax on it, or does it have an equivalent amount of duties and taxes on it that domestic has. Clearly an anti western, preferential policy.
You’d think that journalists might want to have someone on the panel who might give a perspective of what is happening in Alberta….you know, someone from Alberta
Well, I’m an Albertan and I say yes, we support her. The fact that the east is getting all riled up means that shes doing something right. Keep it up Danielle Smith! And Nanos….lol.
She’s coming out against mandates periods
They say this as if it’s a bad thing to have autonomy from Ottawa 🤣
I live in Saskatchewan, and I support everything Smith is doing, and I hope Moe is paying attention.
I’m from Ontario and entirely support her and Alberta.
Thank You Danniel Smith for standing up for Albertans who have been supporting Canada for years ,, with the Sovernity act .
