They have programmed the mosquitoes to deliver the covid-19 vaccine
@Audy Simon well something’s up maggot.. Why else would anyone in their right mind choose now to 750,000,000 mosquitos?. Completely evil.
Nah they want the Coronavirus to be used to enslave humanity. They don’t want to actually cure anything.
Best stupid comment of the day. Just 100%, kindergarten level full stupid on display for everyone to see.
DarkKnightTrinity ummm it was actually posted yesterday.
😂
There goes the neighborhood.
Yeah cause the scientific community has never done anything disastrous before
Well we figure the best solution to that problem is to just introduce a drug into the water systems that would limit memory at about two, or maybe three days tops.
What are you referencing?
What exactly are you talking about ? Please, give me a detailed list of all the genetically modified animals that went wrong. Can’t think of anything and you’re just really ignorant ? Surprise, surprise.
you guys can google ( genetically modified animals) and look up the results yourselves instead of asking me and calling me ignorant…..do you own research. It’s not that hard to find
Stokley PURE STERILIZATION EXPERIMENT…….. BY EUGENECIST…………..
Thank you !!!!!!!!!
@ the 2:14 mark someone farted. It happens.
What happens to the ecosystem that rely on them as food….
Just what I was thinking. So far as I can tell, this plan only works if it actually significantly reduces the mosquito population, without regard for whether any particular mosquitoes are actually carrying a dangerous disease.
They will wipe it out right to the top of the food chain
What an excellent way to kill off those nasty toads and frogs and birds and bats….. No really, they surely can find alternate food sources. Most likely will have the effect they are looking for. Will see a drop in infected population for 1 season. It is only 750 million in numbers. How does this stop the other 900 bazillion trillion infected skeeters from breeding? Most likely be a total waste of time and money. The nerds wanna play too.
Nah we have known for decades that mosquitoes are useless and only carry disease. There is enough other smaller bugs that do not spread disease for animals to survive off of. So you’re wrong 🤷🏼♀️
This won’t reduce the population by barely anything outside of major cities, the number released is too small. Seriously guys stop and THINK for 2 seconds. Do you think 750 million means anything to a population of quadrillions ? Probably more, just hard to estimate mosquitoes.
There is an entire genre of science-fiction dedicated specifically to genetic modification of a species. It never ends well. Nature will always retaliate. There are always unintended consequences.
We’ve literally been genetically modifying since we started producing livestock. Give me all the examples nature has specifically retaliated. I’ll wait.
@DarkKnightTrinity No, we haven’t. To genetically modify on the level of this Mosquitoe is to create a New Spices, which is what these scientists have done.
0:12 sensational
Saw these on the cover of the 2017 economist magazine on the “death” card. How wonderful.
*they’re just finding more ways to kill humanity.* (or create biohazard humans)
Sweet
They’re finally doing it now
Insanity, did we not learn anything from Jurassic park???
Ya…..this wont turn out as expected.
Wtf
I can’t help but think of those crazy mosquitoes in that movie Kong Skull Island. This is the origin story?
Got to love all the ‘biology’ experts in the comments … who have never once looked into microbiology textbooks.
Okay let me explain this for you simple folk.
1. 750 million is so MINUSCULE of a percentage of population this won’t affect outside of major urban cities in Florida. There aren’t enough to reach anywhere beyond the cities, let alone the rest of Florida, let alone the rest of the world.
2. We’ve been genetically modifying all domestic animals since we domesticated animals. Get over it.
3. This can’t affect humans or other animal populations, especially with such a tiny test amount.
i am so scared
A Jimmy Neutron experiment. Don’t get brainwashed by there fancy terminology in science. Sometimes there are things in life that are very common sense. But most don’t care 🤷♂️ we are busy watching the Kardashians.
