  1. Republicans didn’t have a problem voting for a massive tax cut that benefited only the wealthy and increased the deficit. Now we can really see who has been holding up support for the American people.🤔

    1. @David Goldman
You probably don’t own a business, just check how a lot of big companies taking advantage of people paying them nothing or underpaying them.
Cost of living is increasing but minimum wage is still the same, that’s why you see a lot of people have to work more hours or they have to get a second job. You see a lot of miserable faces hating their jobs.

    2. @Kurt Neumann I saw a difference in my own paychecks under Trumps tax cuts. Of course it wasn’t the same feeling the Corporations felt but in the middle class every little bit helps. There is no doubt Trumps business model helped create jobs and benefited the big Companies more. What many are blind to is that Companies create jobs and get tax breaks to be able to create those jobs. This is the benefit we get back for our tax dollars, more jobs available for the public.

    3. @TheMaryam1891 Silly liberal, easily $10m+ not to mention the fact that it’s all time wasted LOL….poor sheep.

    1. @Drake Fire Slight correction:
      > Obama added $8.6 trillion to National Debt in 8 years
      > Trump has added $7.8 trillion to National Debt in 4 years
And what you did not state was that Obama’s first task was to pull us out of the George W. Bush recession and that Obama in his first 4 years of pulling us out of the recession increased the National Debt by $4.829 trillion dollars while Trump, during a booming economy when he should have been paying down the debt (he did promise to pay down the National Debt) has instead added $7.8 trillion. Now we are again in a Republican caused recession caused in large part by the incompetent handling of the coronavirus pandemic and now all of a sudden Republicans want to say they are fiscal conservatives! WTF !.
BTW – $7.8 trillion represents roughly 90.7 % of what Obama added and not simply 2/3!

    2. @Borvo Seems like my numbers were a bit off, but the point still remains. If Trump had gotten a second term, his added debt would have surpassed Obama’s.

But Republicans don’t care about that.

    3. and republican supporters think what you are saying “Is a hoax. Its the democrats that are causing damage.” mannn half the united states are full of idiots and followers

    1. @Rubicon Outdoors i wish fast food workers get 15. But like I was saying. Thousands of jobs are lost because low skill want more money.go to school become some one.not a $ 15 dollar an hour .

    2. @Mike I hate not working am 54 yo,ex rig driver cost to cost and on 2013 i was diagnosed with lupus after a hart attacks after that I had 3 more plus 2 surgeries. You did good mike

    1. @Brian Holmes even when faced with logic facts and clear explanation and you don’t have a shred of evidence to support your opinions you still don’t believe it this is called the Dunning Kruger effect.

    2. @Forward Think you have neither logic nor facts in your comments, you obviously applied doublespeak when choosing your name. You should focus on your own competence rather than judging others. Dunning Kruger, really?

    3. @Brian Holmes I mean think about it you’re the one calling things hogwash looking for excuses making assumptions, The only thing you’re not doing is supporting Your own opinion with a logical statement if you don’t understand how the Dunning Kroger effect works my point exactly.

    4. @Forward Think I try to recognize and address my limitations and shortcomings on a daily, do you have any?

    5. @Brian Holmes yes absolutely Finding out what your weaknesses are and learning to better yourself is the only way you can achieve success nobody is perfect. But being a former Democrat and involved in politics I feel pretty comfortable with my assessment of current and past Political events with a pretty good understanding of the issues affecting our society and economy as well as everything in between.

  2. Republican voters are FOR stimulus checks, if the republican senators cared about their constituents they would pass another covid relief bill!

    1. The constituents of republican senators are *not* the people but the Big money in their party,…the top 1%. You don’t believe that the general population of Kentucky has loved McConAll for all these years being the second highest welfare state in our Union, do you?

    2. white racists have ALWAYS voted against their own best interests..as long as rich white pols feed em a steady diet of “whiteness”

    1. You know McDonald’s in new york pays 21$ an hour.. it matters where u live. 7.25 is fine in some areas.

    2. @Rubicon Outdoors That doesn’t make sense at all. If you are a federal employee in NYC and you get the minimum wage then it is ok that you are f****** because a federal employee can live off 7 dollars in Arkansas?

    3. BTW most federal employees work and live in big cities where the cost of living is higher than in rural areas anyways!

    4. Oh my god, you Americans actually think your country is “wealthy”…. 🤦‍♂️ that’s too funny omg ahaha!!

  3. We need stimulas NOW! Two people I know already lost everything they have due to losing their business and home. What’s up with that. DO SOMETHING ALREADY!!!!

    1. $1400 only goes so far. I support the stimulus checks but USA must quarantine Covid for weeks until vaccinationated are a majority. Otherwise people will keep getting sick and businesses will continue to suffer for an extended period of time.

    2. @Andrew Cass And Trump is going to die in prison. You forgot that part. The Republicans have withered down to being only 25% of the electorate. You forgot that, too.

    3. Marcella Sierra – The failure of congressional Democrats to make economic relief for citizens recurrent for the duration of the crises, and to give only scraps to small business while big business got the lion’s share of stimulus is something they should be held to account for in 2022. Concerning Biden’s actions for COVID relief, in his recent press conference Biden explains the process (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDcP7SoAzwc) – starts at 14:50 or so. He doesn’t rule out using reconciliation. But getting anything that isn’t tax cuts for uber wealthy or massive stimulus for the biggest corporations through congress doesn’t happen “immediately”. The only way to change that is to keep voting out the obstructionists and the deficit hawks and get more progressives and populists into congress. But his answer to that question and the one about “unity” that follows reveals a lot of depth in his thinking. He seems more willing to consider what the majority of Americans want than I saw under the last several presidents at least. But only time will tell….Cheers, JW

    1. @Chris Buff To determine if the people you hear from/about are your average people in the poor neighborhoods. Demographics do matter in policy making even in relief packages…

    2. @Matsepo Ramaboli I myself live in a lower middle class area of multiple mixed races who all worked prior to Covid. The comments I referred to hearing were from multiple people from multiple classes in life and multiple races. Hence my stance that people have chose to not work vs finding employment due to gaining free incentives. In my experience and my area there appears to be no disproportionate effects by Covid between one race to another. We all have been hit equally. Again, that’s my area.

    3. @Bill Blasky considering both Parties have members in trailer parks and both account for laziness and welfare abuse I would agree. I would also note living in a trailer park is perfectly fine. Not all people in America are capable of purchasing a 200+ thousand dollar brick home. smh

  4. It was well known this plan was comming while passing the last one. Every one said it.
Last plan was a Quick fix

  5. The previous administration taught everyone at least one thing. That when you have power, you use it (hopefully for the good of the people).

  6. Pass it and tax the wealthiest. Triple the tax rate on incomes over $2 million. Screw the Republicans. You want unity, grovel. Don’t grovel, eff off fascists.

  7. One excuse GOP gives is that it might be to much. I’d rather a few people get aid they don’t really need, then millions suffer.

    1. @Mike and still andrew Cuomo send sick people with cov19 to nursing homes killing 12.000 residents of those home.well deserve you said. Murderer

  8. Republicans: Trillions to the wealthy in tax cuts= “YES DO IT!!”

Republicans: Help the average working American= “No, we’re back to being the fiscal party”

    1. And who wanted to raise $600 to $2,000? Also questioned the Billions alotted to other countries that have NOTHING to do with Covid relief here in the U.S. and (which BTW was drafted by the “Unity” party) suggested making changes to how those funds are being dispersed……Trump!

    2. Also…if you knew anything about economics, without said tax cuts, businesses cannot exist…on EITHER side. Also you have this KKK mentality….maybe check your history…..hint……even Malcom warned you.

    1. I hope he stays strong in letting the Republicans know Democrats run dis now, so Republicans can have several seats and relax. WE GOT DIS!!!😄

  9. Susan Collins acts like she’s in an early stage of Parkisons disease anyways. Why don’t she retire and enjoy the years she has left on earth.
