    1. That would have been the biggest mistake of his life to start running that’s what it was trying to get him to do because it loves the Chase

  1. and what did he learn. He learned that if he had thrown the rock 6 mins earlier he would have just seen a big cat and not been hunted for 6 min. cats dont like being hit with rocks.

  2. This happened because the man was near the baby’s in the original video but you left that out of course..

    1. SCOOPS TRAINING GROUP , right? The comments are mind blowing. It’s pretty easy to be “brave” sitting in your basement behind a computer. Lol. Most people when faced with an angry Cougar mum, don’t live to tell about it- even with their, “100 mph rocks.” Can you see me rolling my eyes? Lol.

    2. Also like wheres your proof that the man purposefully disturbed a den of cubs? He was out on a hike and accidentally stumbled on baby cougars. So? Does the man deserve to die because of it? Jfc… sorry that the pesky human didn’t die. I think people are just jealous that the man was able to capture a moment of bravery on camera where they would have simply ended up lunch lol

    3. Fonky Munk , i May be wrong, but I think some people just want to explain WHY she was doing that to him. She was getting him away, that’s all. Instinct. If she wanted to kill him- she easily could have.

    4. @Fonky Munk the point is that if you see the cubs of a wild lion or bear. You don’t walk closer to them. Like this man was doing in the longer videos.

  3. When facing a wild animal always throw a rock, or multiple projectiles, at them and they will run away. Wild animals cannot conceive of something being thrown, so it elicits immediate fear in them.

    1. Don’t always work like that I’m proff and I had a 44 MAG. I cut trees in Oregon I’ve seen loooooots of cougar and had to put a few down.

    2. @Swiss Army Josh what’s proff…you mean proficient?
What if the animal(s) were just trying to protect their babies?
anyway, why not fire into the air? n keep pepper spray as plan B, and make shooting them a last resort?

  4. 1. Whip out 40 Cal
    2. Put round in the air
    3 enjoy rest of day
We hike the woods and everyone is packing. Just common sense.

  5. It was protecting a nest or it would’ve used the trees as cover to hunt him. A hungry cougar wouldn’t have stopped tracking him.

    1. I woulda done this or I woulda done that. Grrrrrrr. Man screw that! I would’ve probably peed a little, turned the camera off and broke the land speed record! Then I tell a story of my bravery later, how I whooped a pack of ravenous hungry tigers. With one punch, mind you.

  6. I ran into numerous cougars like that in my life. It’s such a shame that these older women have to act like that.

    1. Ah but the video originally starts with him walking up on the mother cougar and her cubs….he had to keep filming the mother cougar chasing him, you know for likes, views, the gram, that one viral video that will make him internet famous for all of 15 mins. 🤷🏻‍♀️

  7. In the original 6 min video he walked up on the mother cougar and her cubs filming them. It’s clear from the video the mother was just trying to get him far enough from her cubs that she felt safe.

  8. I like how he starts talking 💩 when the lion gets tired of following, like why didn’t you say all that to his face?😂

    1. Makes me think of the movie “Friday”. I’ve got mind control over Deebo. Deebo be like, shut tf up. I be quiet, but when Deebo leaves, I be talking again. Lmfao.

  9. Nothing more than the mountain lion telling that dude to GTFO of its territory. If it wanted to attack, he never would’ve known it was there until its jaws were around the back of his neck.
