@Colin Faust I understand the arcane strategies of presidential elections and Hillary’s team screwed up in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. What I think is that it is great bitter irony that in a democracy based on the premise of majority rule, the majority gets to have it’s say and yet only with the exception of the Electoral College in presidential elections, can a loser win.
Two out of the last three presidents were losers and both of them ran administrations that were (and are) cluster-f**ks and criminal.
Why the Electoral College? because the northern states conceded to the whiney southerners that faulty electoral mechanism for control of elections, The slave owner, racist southerners weren’t going to join otherwise and the north wisely recognized that it was necessary for self defensive reasons to unite the various unrelated factions that inhabited the North American continent.
Thus the first line in the Preamble: We the People, in order to form a MORE perfect union…We couldn’t be more imperfect right now.
