    1. When Alexander the great conquered the Persians he found the city of Jerusalem already their, but no one called the lands Palestine

  1. You would think that a “Holy Land” would be somewhere that people would get along, yet we have been suckered into calling this place “The Holy Land”

    1. @Brian Jones You are def wrong, its a disaster all around. It has nothing to do with rational religion, becuase even if all the religions admit to the fact that GOd is all seeing and all knowing and is everywhere, somehow God is more present there,in a graveyard created by sectarian wars.
God is everywhere, but i have to have ownership over this piece of rock, because God is eveyrwhere.Makes literally no sense.

  2. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “You shall not enter Paradise until you believe, and you have not believed until you love one another. Shall I tell you of something you can do to make you love one another? Spread the greetings of Salam (peace) amongst yourselves (i.e. between each other).

    1. @Stan Wilson *absolutely, it belongs to the Muslims and peace will never be achieved as long as its occupied by the Zionist regime*

    2. @CONSERVATIVE NEWS YOU MEAN WHITE SUPREMACISTS CURRENTLY OCCUPYING JERUSALEM WHICH THEY STOLE FROM MUSLIMS OF COLOR – WHEN WILL BIDEN SEND THE TROOPS TO HELP THE PALESTINIANS TAKE BACK WHAT IS THEIRS FROM THE WHITE SUPREMACISTS!?

  3. Narrated Anas ibn Malik:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Go in Allah’s name, trusting in Allah, and adhering to the religion of Allah’s Apostle. Do not kill a decrepit old man, o a young infant, or a child, or a woman; do not be dishonest about booty, but collect your spoils, do right and act well, for Allah loves those who do well.

    1. I don’t need Allah to tell me not to kill an old man…or an infant…geez. If Allah didn’t exist would you go around killing babies? And don’t be dishonest about booty…or spoils? So apparently Allah has no problem with robbing and stealing from people..what a pathetic excuse for a god

    2. @cat dog jimmy Psalm 137:9 is found in one of the Imprecatory Psalms (or Precatory Psalms) that speak of violence against the enemies of God. That verse reads, “Happy is the one who seizes your infants / and dashes them against the rocks.”

  4. Three major faiths and six epic battles in Jerusalem… Like how history making the world past the future even if what the Israelis would have to get… It’s always just about what Jews and Christians say…

  5. I have a solution to the fighting happening in Jerusalem: Why doesn’t god just come down and clear everything up?

    1. God would never waist his time mediating a dispute between mortals and he surely would never negotiate with an Arab

  6. Some more Jew washing history? As if the zionazis needed more of it. But I guess that just as Goebbels thought, it’s never enough hasbara.

  7. The bible is not authentic no more.
The bible 100 years ago is not the same bible today, they tried to change the language of the bible .

    1. It took quite a bit more than 100 years to write the bible. Of course it has gone through many changes and translations. That’s why there are currently many different editions.

  8. One thing all big three religions agree on is that God is a man and should be addressed as our Father.

  9. I prefer my billionaires fighting over mars, over billionaires fighting for a burial spot in the Middle East.

  10. That’s a good one. To take a simple book that’s been written by multiple people, interpreted by multitude of more, and entities, over period of thousands years. Now in 2021 still being used as a political or otherwise weapon, by some, to discriminate and oppress sertain groups or individuals. To have a faith, is one thing, but “IN GOD WE TRUST”, is entirely something different.

  11. Truly astounding that CNN hasnt reported on anything about whats going on in South Africa, its truly astounding.I came here to say that, because its the latest CNN vid at this date.
Or at least i havent seen anything here on youtube, done by them.

  12. Before the old testament was written down, these stories were past down for many generations by word of mouth.

  13. Given CNN’s track record on truthful reporting I have no faith at all in their ability to tell this story in an unbiased, unsung way. I will pass. My opinion

  14. The truth is more powerful than a story.
But the Truth about Humanity is that our belief in religious stories as true is powerful enough to make us justify some stupid decisions.

  15. Prof. Brenner was a bit hesitant it’s like walking through a minefield, while prof. Mourad presented a more assertive opinion and sometimes injects religious philosophies. Jerusalem is the tale of the past and the present. The past was conclusive and the present is inclusive. In the past, the world was segmented into different worlds today it is a global community governed by international law.
