@Dale Cash let’s just skim over the fact that he refused to turn over his tax returns like every other president has.. common sense (if his brain-dead cult had any) would dictate that there is something there that he does not want the public to see and, when you are a public servant, especially holding the highest office in the world, it is imperative that there be no entanglements that could put the country in danger.. i.e., compromised, leaving him open to blackmail. Those with nothing to hide, hide nothing and it’s not only his tax returns but everything else he is involved with. He brings frivolous lawsuit after frivolous lawsuit in order to delay and run the clock out to keep from being accountable. He refuses to cooperate when subpoenaed, thumbing his nose at law enforcement. If that were any one of us, we would already be in jail for obstruction of justice. It’s past time that he be made to account for his shady behavior.

SCOTUS had exactly no grounds not to reject the appeal. The relevant legislation says that Treasury SHALL give tax returns to congress on request. There is no wriggle room and never has been.
