No, he wasn’t worried. Neither were any other republican congress representative or senator. But surely you are aware of the fact that Congress could have vetoed the shutdown when two thirds had voted against it. Guess who was the majority in the Senate? Also, neither was the putin kool-aid drinking idiot who ordered the shutdown worried about work. After the shutdown ended, the Democrats attempted to pass a bill to provide funding for contractors who suffered from the shutdown. Guess which party refused to go along with that? But I’m sure you knew all that, right?

Schumer did not answer the question that was asked. The question was based on the Republicans view that the House should have taken the time to subpoena witnesses and documents. Schumer blames the Republicans for not voting before they had even seen the presentation of the case. I guess they act different with their guys.
