I don’t think the church can do anything about the escalating crime rate in jamaica . When some young people think the only way out is scamming, stealing and killing its hard to ask the church for help. The viciousness of our youths and the effects of this is sad. Several councilors are needed in schools and homes of some of these children. Government should take time out to evaluate the situation and find a way to deal with this situation from the grass root level , instill in youths the importance of living, good education and more importantly love for your fellow man. We say out of many one people but that means nothing in today’s jamaica

Religion doesn’t have a roll in crime. Government has allowed for poor pay and terrible education to run on for years. What opportunities do young people have? They see these music videos of nice cars and cash and have no legal way to become wealthy and successful other than crime.

Unuh better fix what unuh create. Church folks also want protection. Only voting times unuh come around with sweet mouth. What about investing in some CCtv footage, ensure every business place has security system and every street light, stop light etc, so when the criminals run the camera pick dem up even if dem hide the footage is there. How other countries a solve crimes & we cant solve them? Instead of a buy vehicle all the time its best to invest in something worthwhile.
