The death rate in there is higher than China’s and even Germany (where there’s over double the cases). That needs to get looked into.
I have time to research this and I’ve been researching this since day one…. yes without testing there’s no way to stop the spread they’ve already said 60% of people worldwide will get infected so in the United States more like 80%

It’s been to late since it’s had 7 weeks to spread across the US without testing. When they finally start it will be several thousand from the governments delay in testing. That guy in Omaha has tested positive for 7 weeks now. Smh
I’m worried, don’t know about you. I worked in healthcare for 25 years. I’m no genius, but this will be bad. I’m a compromised person now, my health is not good so I’m staying in the house because if I contract this virus I’m a goner. Be safe and considerate of each other. Peace.

@Sara Khaldi you will be fine there are more people that died from the common flu then we’ll die from this we lost 33,000 people to the common flu last year it affects the respiratory it literally keeps you from breathing and they say that it is like having the common flu on steroids if you are young and in good condition it is treatable and you will be fine it will affect the elderly and the ones with compromised immune systems auto immune systems the weak people will be the elderly that have like COPD but you you will be okay I would suggest that you get you some powdered Emergen-C and drink it
@Linda Gautney that’s all I wanted to know. I eat healthy, eat a lot of vitamin C in the winter time, especially, along with taking emergency C when I feel anything coming on. Thank you for not being snarky or rude. Everything I’ve read from the cdc and even all of the top 10 universities, there is not enough information.

Yeah… I mean, c’mon… Duh! (Aren’t they insured against things like this? I’d think that would be a no-brainer, given how common outbreaks of colds, flu, etc already were known to happen on cruises!)
It boggles my mind. Going on a cruise right now is on the level of failing to wash one’s hands- it’s not time to panic, not by a long shot (I think people are massively overreacting, in general), but it IS time for common sense… Like washing one’s hands… And NOT going non cruise ships!

10:12 Chris missed an important point… the ship has 21 confirmed cases. The point he missed is that they only tested 44 people on the ship! There are like 1100 crew and 2000 passengers. (It is the same point he made earlier about not testing).

Private capital is all about sharing the wealth, making sure everyone has what they need for when the time comes. That’s is why Amazon pays these enormous salaries to all of its employees, for instance.

Jen’s, the problem with your statement is that WHO sent out test kits in February. Trump refused them so, the CDC had to create one. In the haste, there was a flaw in the test. Who is to blame for this “slow start”? Not CDC! The blame lands solely on the large shoulders of DJT!!!

I think any entity that has been given over 8 billion just last year and whose task it is to be prepared to address these issues should be able to deal with it rather than rely on also faulty test kits from WHO. The need to IMPORT kits when they are on world wide demand is not good. Better to have labs established here with proper containment procedures.
@C Green And you got the figure of “over $8 billion” from where? The fact is that Trump cut back on funding to the CDC and Pandemic Preparedness government offices. That’s why the CDC was not prepared on top of which Trump refused to accept the fact the Virus was coming here. If, as you say, the WHO’s tests were faulty, why did the countries who accepted those tests and began to use them quickly with an eye to containment with high numbers of people who tested positive? Those test must not have been that faulty.
