easy compparison class act person versus a no class person
Even better comparison: Democrat ethics versus Republican lack of ethics, morality, and conscience. Democrats are much less inclined to close ranks behind a D wrong-doer.
The reason that the tone of this impeachment is so much different than it was in the Clinton impeachment is that at that time we were still a functional democracy, for the most part– meaning that most of the Congress would respect the rule of law and the Constitution above the power held by any one man. There remained at that time at least a semblance of dignity and self-respect, and even honor, within the Congress.
In other words, the tone of this impeachment process is an expression of our new fascism.
And I mean that very literally.
It absolutely *is* a fascist oligarchy in the making. Being disinclined to envision such a thing, I believe we don’t see it as it most definitely takes shape.
Trump is a fascist dictator-in-waiting. No question about it.

Clinton had a spine. Trump is such a coward. So insecure he has to lie cheat and steal his way through life.
What is frightening is wondering is how he will handle this from this day forward. He suffers from narcissistic personality disorder. Not good for someone with so much power.
