Well, there is a Taiwan Lobbyist targeted Pelosi through a PR company related to Gary Hart (his name was mentioned in Taiwan media) for a significant period of time. Her visit drew the last Hay of the Hay stack of weakened US-China relation. The Hay stack is the Credibility of a Nation or leaders of that Nation. Now the Hay stack claps. To US’ national interest, Taiwan is a peripheral matter, but to China, Taiwan is the core interest. There was erosion of “one China policy” contrast to “Shanghai Communique”. Before 4 days ago, China has not cross the imaginary middle line of Taiwan strait. Now on the China’ book, no such imaginary middle line would be respected anymore. China makes claim, rightfully till this date, Taiwan is a part of China. Look at the books of UN. Zero votes in recognition that Taiwan is a country. All countries agree that there is only One China, and Taiwan is a part of it. As in the UN’s book, there are votes in recognition that the government of Taiwan is the rightful government of the China. Ask, who did most of the military drills in area or in front of the doors of China? There was a military drill in 1996 near the imaginary middle line towards Taiwan.
Mainland wants a peaceful unification! But Taiwan ruling party has removed Chinese elements from the school text books, engaging lobbyist in US for independence under the banner “democracy”. Look at how the democracy has been practised in Taiwan by the ruling party, shut 134 media/press which were pro Chinese culture, confiscating dozens organizations pro Chinese Culture, making the difference between Taiwanese and Chinese out of thin air. If Taiwan ruling party so wants to be “not Chinese”, the first step is to return all treasures of Palace Museum back to Mainland China.
US is playing Taiwan card.
