While Derek Chauvin will face the consequences for the killing of George Floyd, this was not the first time Chauvin used excessive force during his career as a police officer.

Chauvin’s Violent Track Record As A Police Officer Long Preceded Killing George Floyd | MSNBC
Whoever kept him on the force also needs to be held accountable
@Brandon Duarte
she’s a HERO
CIA TO MSNBC, let me ask you this. Are you the peoples friend or just another troll?
@V N im responding to the original post not the racist (you) that doesnt hold accountable people of color. The oroginal post states whoever left him on the force needs to be held accountable. Yeah, thats the chief that testified against him! Whether you like or not. Now if you want to protect people of color for wrongdoing go ahead. Fact is had the mob not burned down cities like it happened not the chief or anyone would have testified. Fact is chauvin trial has a political agenda. Dont portray chief to be an angel that didnt know. You or people wanted accountability? Ok. But accountability for all! That doesnt exclude people of color. Furthermore, if what you or people seek is respect for life. That means each life. It is not just black lives matters. It is all human life. And that means good and bad people. That means that prosecutors and people do not practice prosecutural abuse like blackwell did during closing arguments. That is revenge. That is not professionalism!
I guess nowfinally there will be investigation in this corrupt blue system.
Agreed 😭😭
If Chauvin struck the 14-year-old young ma several times in his head, Chauvin should have been terminated that day! That action has to be assault!
@Bruce hardy
“Oozing out?” Great choice of words there!
@FRE FLO DO
Can you imagine getting away with this behavior at any “after school care” facility? Noooo way! You’d be in jail before the ink. was dry on the warrant…..
@Matthew Stephens In the end, payback is karma.😁
Absolutely.
@Vic J it’s also a civil rights violation because he has prior complaints of using racist language towards black people.
The police who killed Kelly Thomas should be in jail also.
Kelly Thomas’s, father is a big police supporter. I do feel sorry for Kelly, though.
Need to get in line , if there was one …
Nothing but the grace of God that the teen survived!
Amen!
Yes this whole tragic situation was in your God‘s plan, his perfect plan. Are you starting to recognize that your crazy yet?
But the trauma and damage done is still there, and will have ripple effect through the teen’s family and all of society.
@Vic J agreed!
@Hayle Seyton i guess God didn’t like George Floyd
Oh my goodness. They need to pay attention to these complaints he clearly had an anger problem.
He did not have an anger problem. He is a racist !
More like a racist problem with unlimited power. His issues were ignored by those within the department.
Just imagine if this record was logged into a nation wide data base available to all police departments instead of a file cabinet. Hmmm.
yes, just imagine! If only we could do such a thing. *sigh* alas
That is what the Brady list is supposed to be for.
OMGOODNESS when the inmates hear about this they will have to find a hole to hide Mr. CHAUVIN in 😱😲🙀😮🤯
@Chad Pettis And Chauvin should not have held his knee on his neck for over nine minutes. Period.
@Chad Pettis So was Shitvin 😁
Cleveland Tay Floyd fought the cop! You Dems all take the L
@Chad Pettis why so hateful my man. What Chauvin did was wrong black or white… He was just an bad apple. With a history of violence…
Cleveland Tay never would’ve happened if Floyd re re didny resist arrest and fought the cop! Take your L re re
Derek Chauvin actions are worse than gang members!
I hope he meets himself in prison and find out what it feels like!
Derek Chauvin used excessive force during his career with the Minneapolis Police Department that lead Chauvin to putting his knee on George Floyd’s neck.
If Floyd’s murder wasn’t caught on video, Chauvin would’ve gotten away with that, too.
CHAUVIN’S UNFORGIVABLE BRUTAL ASSAULT WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA …..
AND THERE ARE DESPICABLE PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO WANT HIM NOT GUILTY AFTER WITNESSING THE PUBLIC KILLING ON CAMERA ……
THE ANGER BEFORE THE TRIAL IS GONNA GET CHAUVIN’S SENTENCE REDUCED NOTABLY BECAUSE OF FOX NEWS …NEWS MAX ..AND AMERICA FIRST NETWORKS …..
PUT HIM IN MINIMUM SECURITY STATE PRISON. HE WIIL GET HIS JUSTICE.
And don’t forget the false medical examiner’s report. The medical examiner should be sued, investigated, indicted.
You could tell he had a problem. He got away with it so many times it becomes the higher ups that need to answer as well.
Exactly. But do you know how hard it is to sue the cities? The higher ups in the system that allow these vagrants to stay on? Nearly impossible.. but that needs to stop
💝If you are reading this: BE BLESSED x 1,000,000 with great healing, wealth, love, peace, happiness and success!!!💝💝💝💝
Chavin is only a spoke in a wheel. This guy has a history of excessive violence and was never demoted or punished . His bosses literally allowed and condoned this kind of behavior . The chiefs and the courts and society sustained these individuals
The MPD tried to sweep Floyds death under the rug. They would’ve been happy to keep Chauvin on the force if not for the WORLDWIDE outrage.
We as citizen file complaints and in law enforcement the complaints are treated like a joke and handed off to their “Internal Affairs whereas a flunky is employed” or even worse we are denied to file the complaint.
He got rewarded and honored even with this history.. that says Alot
Chavin must be sad he got no help to get away this time
His luck ran out.
Someone filmed the sh*”t and post it on line
This is just outrageous. YES, the higher ups need to take responsibility for letting him remain on the force. Just despicable and senseless.
