@sam rut you seem to have understood the science pretty well. General public don’t take up the severely limited mask supply when they are needed by frontline workers and there are low levels of infection in the community , wear one when the supply problem has been sorted and the transmission method of this new virus is now better understood, so we now know masks can help. wear two if you want to be extra cautious. Vaccine effectiveness constantly being revised in the light of more and more data, but all signs are good. Sorry to hear that all your pets have contracted it. Keep following the science.
@Dave Moss It is all a bunch of nonsense. “Science” is taking a common flu and blowing things way out of proportion. There was a mask shortage when all of this crap first began but no more. There is nothing new about this virus. Unless they took the common flu and gave it a new name, that is the only thing new. Where did the flu go? It is covid now. I will only wear a stupid mask when I am asked to put one on. Yes I know that they are still testing this vaccine and I do not want to be part of the test. It was not my pets it was the the MSM’s propaganda pets. I do follow science just not garbage that the MSM spreads.

“CDC Issues New Travel Guidance For Vaccinated Americans” thereby motivating us, the people of America, to redouble our efforts to rapidly find out at any given moment, including even while On-Line, who among us are unwittingly contagious (i.e. pre-symptomatic or asymptomatic) in order to “Convince It Forward” for them to call their doctor and to self-quarantine per CDC guidelines in hopes of stopping this pandemic instead of having more “Mourning In America.” Thus, we’re hoping for the best while preparing for the worse-case scenario of the “UK variant” strain(s) mutations and others like the South African, Brazilian, Californian & “Cluster 5 Mink” mutations rendering current vaccines no longer effective.

FYI getting a Covid vaccine doesn’t make you vaccinated against Covid. It just lowers your symptoms (allegedly). You can still get Covid and pass your Covid onto other people. This is NOT the measles or Polio vaccine…
That is an unknown, latest data suggests it may well prevent you getting and spreading covid, especially if your younger.

Normalcy, the 4th spike has once again shut down France, Ontario, Canada, and the entire Eastern seaboard is teetering on the edge. Meanwhile, the mutations in the virus are blowing through fully vaccinated people in Washington State. I am all for happy news but would rather prefer actual accurate news.
Last I heard, they said 102 out of 1.2 million vaccinated people were infected and only a handful of those became seriously ill. This percentage is consistent with vaccine trials. True that there are increasing variant cases cropping up in Washington, but no indication that these are primarily responsible for infections of fully vaccinated people. US Citizens fully vaccinated will still be harassed at foreign destinations with testing required before boarding. What is the point of getting vaccinated if you are asymptomatic and still have to get tested at foreign locations ? US Citizens should be exempt from testing.
