Dominica  is a small country and, in many ways, we are of one family. We 
have attended  school, or associated, or socialized with many persons with 
whom we may later  have differences of opinion with. However, those familial or 
national bonds of  affection serve us poorly where they may imprison us in 
a tomb of silence where  wrongdoing occurs.  Now is a time  for Dominicans 
at home and abroad to end the sound of silence and support the  petition for 
the resignation of Minister of National Security Charles Savarin  over his 
call to boycott Brizee Mart.

Dominica’s Public Service Union (PSU) has denounced a call by the country’s labour minister to boycott a business enterprise whose owner is at odds with the Roosevelt Skerrit administration.

PRESS STATEMENT FROM THE CITIZENS FORUM FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE (DRAFT)

On a radio program hosted by legal advisor to the Prime Minister, Anthony Astaphan, Government Information Director, Mervyn Paul and Minister for National Security and Labour, Charles Savarin in which Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit participated live by telephone, aired on Kairi FM radio, the Minister of National Security and Labour advocated for the boycott of O.D Brisbane and Sons Ltd. a company that has been in existence for more than fifty years, which employs dozens of Dominicans and which has demonstrated a corporate conscience by making significant charitable contributions to society.

When the 
Prime Minister sued Matt Peltier, he was accused of media 'censorship'; 
now that he has not not sued Lennox Linton, he is being accused of being

Why We Need a Commission of  Inquiry Now

On Carnival Tuesday, February 25, 1963 a fire erupted at  the back of the 
Mexican band on King George V Street in Roseau, Dominica. As a result of the
