Roseau, Dominica– May 27, 2010……… After months of intense preparation and modifications and enhancements to the facility, the Nature Island of Dominica is ready to host two one-day internationals at the 12,000 capacity Windsor Park Stadium in Dominica’s capital City of Roseau.

Roseau, Dominica– May 20, 2010……… Attorney General, Hon. Francine Baron Royer has stated that contrary to opinions being expressed in the public domain, the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Hon. Alix Boyd Knights did act in accordance with the Dominica Constitution and the Standing Orders of the House of Assembly when she announced that the Marigot and Salisbury seats had become vacant.

Roseau, Dominica– May 11, 2010……… Chairman of the 13th Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR), Dominica’s Trade Minister, Hon. Dr. John Colin McIntyre has indicated that the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) is seeking to broaden its relationships with Third Countries and Groups of Countries in response to the new challenges in the international global community.

Dr. McIntyre made the statement at a press conference following the conclusion of the 13th meeting of the COFCOR which was held in Dominica for the first time from May 5-6, 2010.

Roseau, Dominica– May 10, 2010……… After many years of having to attend classes in an old and dilapidated school at the mercy of the vagaries of the Atlantic Ocean, hundreds of excited school children, as well as teachers, parents and villagers turned up for the grand official opening of the new San Sauveur Primary School on Wednesday, April 28th 2010.

Roseau, Dominica- May 7, 2010………Dominica’s Ambassador to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, His Excellency, Dr. Philbert Aaron has stated that the relationship that Dominica now enjoys with Venezuela would not have been possible without the  bold actions of Simon Bolivar who liberated Venezuela and Latin America from Spanish colonial rule.
