I’m sure the major sports leagues will be re-thinking their plans once the outbreaks from t’rump’s Covidiots United rally start popping up in two weeks.
Cases! Cases! How many of the 2.2 million people have recovered? Are they all still sick & never recovered? Are the hospitals over run with people? Is the death rate very very low now? Should we try to safely get on with our lives or people will die from “other” than CV19? Are the 100’s of people killed due to civil unrest in the Democrat states, counted as a CV19 hospitilization?
Yeah, it doesn’t seem like killing off your own voters is a good election strategy.

Data shows new cases steeply rising dramatically each day due to early opening, then the death count will rise again – like a pendulum. Go do some homework to find your answers – use data, science rather than opinion.

The entire “western world” has free single payer healthcare of one form or another, except for the US. One might think that was because it was cheaper but the opposite is true. The cost of healthcare per person in the US is the highest, by far, in the world. In the US the cost per capita is MORE THAN TWICE that of countries such as Canada, the UK, Australia, Finland, South Korea, Japan, Belgium, France, etc etc.
Considering how much of our taxes go to pay for stadiums I believe you are correct. We choose entertainment over the common good. If we provided free tuition to medical students in exchange for service to underserved rural areas we would have better access to health care as well.
The Roman emperor’s were smart enough to keep their people passive with free bread and distracted with circuses. We just get the circuses.
