Don’t ask Canadians if they support a no fly zone that may increase tensions with Russian . Ask Canadians if they support a no fly zone that may lead to nuclear war with Russia. You may see some what less than 50% support.
This is a logically false argument, it’s called a slippery slop and it’s bullish*t. If we are ok with the incredibly low level of risk of nuclear war if Putin attacks Estonia, then we should be ok with accepting that risk today for Ukraine. If we’re not willing to accept any risk then Putin will always threaten nukes and we will have to give him everything he wants. No, sooner or later we will be forced to call his bluff and say no, “we don’t think you will nuke the world, Putin.” And stop giving in to him. So, seeing as how we will have to cross this line at some point, it’s better to do it now and save more Ukrainians than to wait until after Ukraine is completely wiped out. Frankly, there is more of a chance that you will be hit by lightening than the chance that NATO confronting Russia will result in nuclear war.

So, to get this right you are saying that Canadians are like “just come here”. Rather than assisting our friends with defending their homes?? In what world does this make sense??? A bully is picking on a friend and we are like ” It’s okay, you can give up a life and all that you worked for and let me make soup for you!!” . We do not need to fight this for them, but rather provide them the tools they need to fight this aggressor!!!
