Great now my mail will never get here!
Your right. They need to be steam powered, running off a wood stove.
Waste more taxpayer money.
This is great news! Baby steps, but still solid steps in the right direction.
….. simple do research.
30 pounds of cobalt in an EV vs. 8 grams of cobalt in a cellphone, so how many times more cobalt in the EV?… question #2 is, is driving a right or a privilege?
Baby steps indeed… they (baybees) are used to mine cobalt.
@Franklin Fleming Very true, I have vids about BOTH “Blood batteries” AND “Eating bugs”.
Hummer EV – weight 9000 lbs
Ford F150 EV – weight 7000 lbs
I wonder if anyone has taken note of the safety of being hit by one of these electric vehicles ? In comparison the weight of a combustion engine car, SUV or truck is significantly different. They are much liter in weight.
Just may have an impact on infrastructure also with the increased weights. You structural engineers might want to see what added stresses will be placed on multi level parkades.
@Robert Tucker : Let’s just say, the safety aspects of collisions, plus what you’ve just mentioned, it seems it hasn’t been thoroughly investigated. The water usage to put out fires in these vehicles is quadruple the amount in an internal combustion engine. I get what’s being attempted, i really do , it is a noble pursuit. There are core economic structures also at the heart of climate change. It isn’t a singular issue, that in the rush to portray EV’s as being the saviour. Poeple need to do a lot deeper research & analysis before they do the mad dash towards EV’s .
@Megafoot2164 unless its more about taking cars than it is for providing cars….
Oh how virtuous! Yay for cobalt mined by hand in the Congo.
Can be stopped and robbed with just an electromagnetic pulse or short-out…great.
What the what? Canada Post? Is this new? When did Canada get a postal service? Do they carry bear spray to fight off the polar bears?
Once again tec is taking our jobs again why dont u mske a free food truck for our homeless
Will this change increase or decrease the fuel surcharge that is charged on postal deliveries??
It will stay the same probably pass add on more
Will we get our mail faster.
Great move, in a couple of years , when the batteries are dead, just think of all the time it will save throwing the batteries in the ocean when they are already on the Island.
whats next flying electric mail delivery vehicles. just wait until the battery dies while they are out delivering the mail and then we have to have a gas or diesel powered tow truck come out and tow the vehicle to a charging station. guess we won’t get our mail when that happens
Made with cobalt mined by children… more please!
@SCARFED my bad I thought you were an adult, hahahaha very clever 🙄 I guess you’re still upset that I called you out, now that’s funny
@Peter lol, “called me out” on what?… you still haven’t proved that my 1963 Bell phone has cobalt… still waiting.
@Peter Uh huh, yep, still not a single battery in my house that has cobalt either, they are still all cobalt free lithium… still waiting.
@SCARFED You still don’t get the point and I doubt you ever will.
😅😆😆😆😆
Haha. Will they be delivering to Kelowna when it’s 35 below?
No problem, customers will bear the difference in cost
This will fail
