  1. Uh, where’s Newfoundland and Labrador in all this? Shouldn’t they be in on it? After all, it’s their resource. I guess not in Trudeau’s fiefdom.

    1. They’ll be in Newfoundland to sign the agreement before Scholz goes home. That was mentioned in the report.

    2. @dixon pinfold I know it was, and a photo-op in NFLD doesn’t count, Mr. Disingenuous. Where is the provincial government involvement in such a long-term, massive project? Why are there no provincial government representatives there? It seems this is all being done over their heads.

    3. @dixon pinfold Y’see, that’s where you’re going wrong. My statement required no correction, and the ‘fact’ you put out was only to deflect from my original questions. The answer to which is: The province hasn’t been involved, and once again Trudeau oversteps his authority. Resources are under the authority of the provinces, and he has no business making deals without them. Bye, now.

    1. Suncor Energy in Alberta is working on a Hydrogen Facility, just in the planning stage. Perhaps just to get their Carbon Credits.

    1. @k9 aid No. Hydrogen. Produced with electrolysis from Quebec electricity. Explains why they cancelled the natural gas pipeline

  2. why do all of these news-broadcasters presenting such news involving the government always seem a little unsure or confused about what they are saying? their facial expressions give away so much. is this planned and done on purpose as such, or are they really that clueless?

  3. It’s a photo op only. No way they can scale this up before winter. They would not even be able to scale up LNG shipments to Germany. Not possible. For clarity, the turbines they are talking about are not wind turbines, they are compressor turbines used to move natural gas down the pipeline.

  4. Seriously this Olaf character was called a liar and a cheat in his own country why the hell is he here in Canada

  5. Gee there’s a surprise, Montreal gets the contract to repair the turbine to send to Russia. I thought Canada was sanctioning all Russian support.
