    1. @JOSEPH STOLEN-ELECTION <<< 4 month old YouTube account created to spread misinformation in the run-up to the midterm

    2. @Obedient Donkey that’s what you got out of my comment? That I mindlessly obey Democrats in cult like fashion? I’m not even American, and your projection is palpable.

And please spare the attempt at coming off as an objective independent. Not even remotely believable.

    3. @John D Such a liar. She repeatedly said Trump was “illegitimate” and democrats did everything possible to coup him out of office, but cry about “democracy” which is about to destroy your leftwing gods.

    4. There is no logic in debating with them. You put proof in front of them and they just claim ‘fake news’, again without any proof as usual. It’s just a circular pattern of lies supporting themselves.

    5. @Obedient Donkey And yet she did concede within 48 hrs. I mean I can link you to her speech, or you could simply google it yourself. But considering that your a troll account with a silly description, we both know you wont.

      Description
Always carrying water and demanding obedience to the government like a good leftist would for the DNC or CCP. Government mandated equity is good and individual freedom is bad!

You’re a clown and not worth the effort.

  1. Looking for oddball stuff? Look in the freaking mirror. Same day voting? Paper ballots? We are surrounded by crazy Cro-Magnons.

    1. @S J Every instance of cheating I read about (and there were overall few) was done by Trump MAGA Republicans. Like every other accuser, you have nothing to back up your outrage.

    2. @S J I take it that YOU know more about Election voting processes than all people at the 60 Court Cases know.
As other have said, you will not accept any evidence even if you’re life depends on it.
That is how much you have been taken in by Trump’s big lie.

  2. brutal jornalism by the Elle Reeve! Wow, what a brilliant approach. Please give her more air time and I mean lots of it!

    1. I wouldn’t call it brutal..
It depends on the outcome that you’d like to achieve. Do you want to prove them wrong? Prove that you are right?
Or, show them a path where they can see for themselves how they’ve been mislead or manipulated?
I’ve seen much more value in the latter form of communication.
In my experience, sometimes just a sentence can let someone see where they’ve been lead astray. I’ve talked to diehard racists, climate deniers, conspiracy theorists over the years and most have changed their minds in the course of 10 minutes – not difficult but you need to be honest, sincere, and respectful while doing it.
“Brutal” starts someone instantly on the defence and they’ll dig their heels deeper in even if there’s no logic behind it.

    2. She’s not objective and she contradicts herself. She says in the beginning how great it was that more people participated in the election and then ridicules that person reasoning. I’ve never seen her challenge any democrats on there BS. She’s not a journalist…..ANOTHER POLITICAL HACK!

  3. People wasting tax dollars need to be held accountable. If they recount votes and there’s no problem, they should have to pay that.

    1. @Lea Garner I appreciate that you were replying to multiple posts and just gave me the off-hand OK response. I do the same thing as well when I can’t be bothered. But I’m genuinely interested in a serious response to my question. Where are the folded-up and hidden inside truths and half-truths in the Trump-inspired election lies?

    2. @Lea Garner Good points. Yeah, recount after recount and they’re never satisfied unless the results turn out the way they want them.

    3. @The Nose Knows Yes, Don Lemon is on at 6:00 am – 9:00 am et with Kaitlan Collins and Poppy Harlow “CNN This Morning” since last Tuesday. The show is way more low-key and ‘fluffy’ than ‘Don Lemon Tonight”…

  4. Imagine what could happen if these people used all that time and energy to actually help people in desperate need in their communities. SMH.

    1. @Easternsun “All healthy functional democracies all have a duty to question elections” – Telling a lie that the election was stolen, isn’t ‘questioning and election’, it’s pushing a lie to maintain power. These two things are NOT the same.

    2. @John D They didn’t question anything. They’re lying and they know it. It’s pure evil. You don’t really believe they believe it do ya?

    3. @Easternsun Ensuring the integrity of our election system is one thing, lying to erode support for democracy is another. Right wing leaders are not acting in good faith.

    4. Yes!! Well said. Same with the QAnon people. Their nutso sex trafficking conspiracy theories actually hurt law enforcement efforts

  5. The people who now say “we only want an honest look at the results” are the same people who before the election were saying “the only outcome I will accept as legitimate is a Trump victory”

    1. @Pete Paradis do t need to, he already knows. Why are you still crying about him? Maybe you should tell him.

    2. @Pete Paradis Ahhh… so you mainline it… got it.
Who is Seth Rich?… The guy you score your desperation from?

  6. IF A FALSE CLAIM LOSES THEIR CASE IN COURT, THE LOSER MUST PAY FOR ALL EXPENSES OF THE DEFENSE. THIS WOULD CHANGE THE GAME!

    1. @Easternsun That is a flat out lie and you are a bald faced liar trumptard. This is where they are all being housed. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My god you are dumb. In fact I bet WE are all paying for your housing because you are too damn lazy to go out and get a job.
Report: Trump Resort Hired Undocumented Workers

A report in a prominent U.S. newspaper says there are a number of undocumented immigrants working at U.S. President Donald Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

    2. @Tim Menke It HAS been proven to be a deliberate false claim trumptard. Anybody with an IQ above zero can easily find the information for themselves.

    3. @Easternsun There has LITERALLY been about 11 million illegal immigrants at any given time in the US for the last 20 years. FACTS look it up.

    4. @Easternsun > brings up 20 unrelated topics
      > ‘why can’t anyone just talk about things’
You. You’re the reason people can’t talk about things. Literally you are the problem.

  7. It’s hard to convert people to the truth when they are fed a constant neverending daily dose of lies. Directly from a source they believe in….

    1. Then I say that that person needs to get a different source for their information. If something doesn’t feel right or sound right to you, go with your gut, and at least check to see if the info is accurate-quit swallowing a line simply because it came from a guy/girl you happened to vote for. That’s just plain dumb to do so, frankly.

    2. and even more to the point, they desperately want the lie to be true and want to believe the worst about the other side.

    1. @AM yea, now he wants to divorce the Qunt. No goddamn evidence, these people are liars and ignorant pieces of paramecium shlt.

    2. “It’s amazing that they have soooooo much “evidence” until you ask them to show it” – It’s also amazing that they keep claiming massive fraud and keep claiming they have evidence when they have been told by their own “experts” that they have no evidence (Cyber Ninjas in Arizona audit) and that what they do have doesn’t show anything (the IT “experts” that Mike Lindell hired to find proof of fraud in that supposed 37 terabytes of “router data”).

    3. @The Map Maker Not a conspiracy, individuals using corporate entities to buy politicians and install justices.Intense competition for government scale resources.High stakes-the new Gilded Age

    4. @James Reese Perhaps, but that’s been going on for as long as I can recall. That’s just the game of politics. The one with the most $$$ and can do the most advertising typically has the advantage. Frankly, there’s nothing illegal or wrong about that. Again, it’s just the high-stakes game of politics. What we’re talking about here though is totally different than that – grabbing and hanging on to theories of widespread fraud that supposedly tilted the election, when you don’t have any hard evidence to prove it. But then you imply that the evidence was “burned in the fire”. 🙄 But again, no proof there either. Accusing voting officials and machines of cheating, which are STRONG accusations, but then can’t produce the evidence of such cheating and fraud. So what do you do then? Say it was “burned in the fire”. And it just keeps going and going….. It’s why the Dean of Psychology at Stanford University said “you can never kill a conspiracy theory, because the conspiracy theorist will just cover up truth and facts with yet another theory of theirs that they mustered up.

  8. That poll-watcher (which sounds like a derogatory term) seemed shocked at how easy it was for the reporter to debunk a lie so quickly and easily.

    1. @Heric Oni “So, now let’s trust Google to be unbiased. Right? Nah!” – You’re aware that other search engines exist, right?

    2. Yeah but he’s just going to go home watch hour after hour of right winged propaganda lies and conspiracy trash then reaffirm his belief in the Big lie that the election was stolen. If it was stolen then why whenever they due extensive searches into election fraud they find a few small one vote cases but mostly fraud by Republicans voting for Trump?🤔

  9. I worked as an election official in Michigan for years. My last time was the 2016 presidential election. There were no poll watchers, mail in ballots were fine for everyone. It’s just insane what one presidential administration, and their cohorts can do to a fully fair election. But in 2020 when he lost, all of that fell apart. We now have Republicans that won their election when Trump lost, saying that election wasn’t fair. If not, then why are they serving the public? Or was just their part fair? Because every ballot that came through had both Presidential, senate and house elections on the same piece of paper. And the person working as an election official doesn’t even see if they’re voting Republican or Democrat that part is covered. It’s just insane what people will believe, just by being told.

    1. @Heric Oni No, people are acting like they don’t care how desperate anyone has become. Some things are possible. Some things are impossible. Rigging an election and keeping it quiet without the active co-operation of the standing government is impossible. TFG was the standing government. Somehow, I just don’t think he co-operated.
Feel free to demonize the Dems all you want – it’s idiotic but you have the right to hate people if you want to – but don’t try to tell me that the Democrats are capable of doing the impossible. You think they’re evil, fine….whatever…..they are NOT supernatural! There are NO magic wands!
      Grow the F–K up!

    2. The insanity is not with the presidential admin, its with the dumb people who fall for it. There are 2 types of people in this insanity:
      1. People who are aware its a lie but still wanted to spread it just to satisfy their supremacy.
      2. People are just plain ignorant.

    3. @Joel in person voting was fine…until republicans shut down polling centers. Proving id was as easy as showing proof of residency…until republicans changed the laws to only accept a driver’s license or a passport. Dominion voting machines worked perfectly under two bush elections, two Obama elections, and one trump election, but suddenly be came a vulnerability only AFTER trump lost?

    4. all these talks about digital hacking or manipulating machines… don’t they know that those recounts have already debunked these?!!?!?! where are their brains for God’s sake?

  10. I’m glad she’s out interviewing, and not some of the hosts… She does an AMAZING job, and always has. She’s been on VICE for a long time and this is her style. Calm and collected.

    1. Legit it feels like she’s talking to a member of her family and tbh that’s how all journeys should conduct themselves (when possible of course)

  11. My favorite is Jordan Klepper showing up at a MAGA rally and talking to people. He spoke with several people who were trained Republican poll watchers in 2020 and all of them said, “I cannot say that I saw ANY fraud in the 2020 election.” And then when asked if they thought there was fraud in the 2020 election, again they all said, “Yes, fraud on a massive scale.”

    1. Klepper is great, but is aiming for the satirical “Can you believe it”? He lets the stereotypes perform for us. Elle Reeve is very different, – quieter, more nuanced, interested in the individual.

    2. @Norris Fong I’ve watched many of his videos. At times he does(or attempts to)what you suggest. This CULT is too far gone. I firmly believe we are at the edge of the abyss. Just listen to what Jon Meacham and Michael Beschloss have to say about our future. It’s not in the least reassuring. I promise you.

    3. I like how he uses circular logic on them. A most recent one was when he was interviewing an elderly QAnon ‘enthusiast’ who believed Trump was still President, flying around in Air Force One still. His questioning brought the man to the conclusion then that since he believed Trump was still President, then he was responsible for the Afghanistan pull-out mess. The response was “Ah, ah um… No”. The look of massive cognitive dissonance on his face…

    4. @VP A-Team That guy is not dangerous, nor are any of the people at the rallies who Klepper catches. But it’s long past comedy in USA now. Laugh as you will, every one of these people will turn out to vote Trump and GOP.

  12. Elle has a nice “human touch” when interviewing.
She models how to lovingly and respectfully communicate with those who have strayed into self-interested fantasy and conspiracy theories.

    1. @Brett McNear Nobody’s perfect. It’s trying that matters.
And as you said, it’s really the only way to reach people.

    2. @Dan Schoenharl I do try, but it’s frustrating. I feel we must deprogramme fascist death cult members if we want to preserve democracy. Do or say nothing, and we stand to lose it all. We’ve seen this movie before and we’re the only ones who can change the ending.

    3. @Brett McNear But, if we choose not to take the high road, and fall into “civil war”, that is also a movie we have seen before.
Don’t underestimate the power of love, virtue and standing your ground. No one said it’s easy, or quick, but the best deprogramming tool is love and truth. Otherwise it is just war.
By all means, do and say what needs to be done and said (as long as it is not violence or hate), as the fascist wannabes are really far out numbered and could not stand up to prolonged, concerted resistance and rebuke.

    1. @R Wags Do you have a point there wags? What does demanding their medical records have to do with their lack of transparency?

    2. @Reid Fleming, World’s Toughest Milkman you can audit any election you like, after the election but not while it’s going on. You did that and couldn’t find anything. What’s the problem? Just show the evidence of illegal voting and you will be believed.

    3. @Reid Fleming, World’s Toughest Milkman The point was they never had the right to demand anyone else’s voter information, so them sitting around at drop off boxes is pointless.

    4. @Yaash Whether it’s pointless or not depends on the reason they’re sitting at drop boxes. If their point is to intimidate, scare, or otherwise discourage Democrats (the people who predominantly vote by mail) from voting they don’t have to know any voter information at all. They just have to be perceived as a threat.

    1. @Isak Falk-Eliasson – She was very kind, respectful, and considerate. She went out of her way to assure him that people didn’t consider him crazy, but merely misled (no fault of his own, no criticism of his intellect).

When she exposed his misinformation, she moved forward quickly rather than dwelling on it, or embarrassing him. Many people would have elaborated at that point, for example “Okay, we’ve proven that one wrong, what’s your next claim?” … Or … “Why do you suppose that if there is truly election fraud, they have to fabricate lies rather than merely pointing-out the evidence?”

Contrary to partisan-networks such as Fox, she also allowed him to communicate his point, uninterrupted. She didn’t attempt to talk over him or twist his words/intent.

She also presented facts rather than her opinion. And when it came time to debunk one of his pieces of misinformation, she relied on evidence rather than boastfully claiming him to be wrong.

Perhaps you don’t like CNN; however, to claim this was not impartial is just silly.

    2. @R McK It’s the body language and tonality of the voice that impacted me. Is there a longer interview somewhere on which you base that description?

I actually do appreciate CNN in general. And I am far from MAGA. I am also not american, which perhaps may influence my interpretation.

    3. @R McK Because if you base that purely on this short snippet, I still disagree. As she must have already identified herself as a CNN reporter, the interviewee would be extra weary with being setup during the interview. A short “you’re not crazy” would probably not win my trust, if I was that interviewee. But then again, I get that it’s a complicated situation.

    4. @Isak Falk-Eliasson – Although the interviewee volunteered to be interviewed by CNN and provide his written training materials, I do understand your point.

And while I can understand an election denier who is so far “to the Right” that he’s willing to invest his time “patrolling” the elections — would be difficult to trust CNN — it doesn’t change the fact that this is unrelated to “impartial journalism.”

It’s a bit like interviewing someone who doesn’t believe in evolution. You can do your best to be polite — and to the outsider it might appear you’re cynical. However, the reality is that biology and evolution are scientifically proven while creationism … is a fiction.

Therefore, no matter how respectful the interviewer, a “perceived bias” will always exist because the interviewee is an extremist going against the evidence.

In short — people like this wouldn’t even get air time 6+ years ago. The fact that they are now receiving air time and that people aren’t laughing their way through an interview that is so far from factually accurate, I would go so far as to say that if the interviewer was not “impartial” it was an error on the side of trying to accommodate fictional beliefs that don’t deserve airtime.

    5. @Isak Falk-Eliasson ” if you base that purely on this short snippet” Um, that is all any of us have to base our assessment on. What are you saying? That you are basing your take on how you IMAGANED the rest of the cut footage went? In the footage she used kids gloves and was far more respectful and compassionate than pretty much any of the prime time hosts, especially Fox hosts or some other right wing propaganda machines. That is straight fact. Or are Fox and OANN secretly treating liberal guests with respect and only airing the parts where they deride them and talk over them?

  13. In my opinion, it all comes down to people not wanting to accept a result that goes against what they wanted. It’s then easy to say there had to be fraud.

  14. I love Elle Reeve’s reporting. How she can remain so Zen blows my mind. Great strategy when dealing with delusional peeps.
