Can Deval Patrick Make Waves If He Jumps Into 2020? | Morning Joe | MSNBC
Some interesting “investing”….we’re done with the investory class….we want to do interesting investing by having bernie invest in our future.
@Margo why vote for Bernie lite when you can vote for the real thing
@Darryl Pellas Wow. I hope you get better. I really, really do. You’re way off on the way you’re reading the cards on what’s going on.
The majority of America has investments.
@Darryl Pellas It’s far left only by American standards where the money is funneling to the 0.1% at a faster and faster pace. The 0.1% are preparing for when the Earth is virtually unlivable for most people.
Andy S Warren went from teaching bankruptcy law to thinking, wow, there’s something wrong here, got political and lobbied successfully for the Consumer Protection Bureau, while she was still in the private sector. Then, she ran for Senate. So tell me, what has Bernie done? I mean, name one signature piece of legislation that Bernie can claim. He said, when asked in 2016 how he would pay for Medicare for all, “I’ll write a big check.” That seemed to satisfy the media. Of course, when Warren said “Medicare for all” they wouldn’t let her off with that nonexistent plan so they’re still putting the screws to her even after she gave them a detailed plan.
Yea that’s guna be a NO for me dawg!
Where do you hear these voices coming from that convince you there is a dispute within the Democratic party? I hear them only from the media pundits — on the left asking questions; on the right making accusations. Is it just the .01% pushing back against Medicare for All, etc?
There is a divide within the party though; in that Progressives don’t trust any “moderate” to not run to the right the moment they get the nomination, while the party establishment would prefer another Trump term to a Progressive winning the Presidency.
Corporations and the rich are terrified that their tax breaks might come to an end.
@Bonesaw is ready the moderates would prefer a moderate.
Most Americans are tired of the establishment, just look at the congressional polling and voter turnout. The trouble is people want change but the establishment keeps trying to convince them change is too risky or too hard, at least right now and to wait for the right time. Candidates on the Left AND the Right win by promising change but move to so called centrist but really establishment policies as soon as they get elected. Obama and Trump were both anti-establishment candidate platforms but Obama moved to center and trump just moved to his wallet. He failed on improving healthcare (said everyone would have it and it would be cheaper and better, sounded like Universal healthcare), failed on immigration reform because hes too impulsive and has lousy lawyers so courts overturn him, etc. Only thing he got was the corporate and billionaire tax cut. He even failed on judges, though McConnell made that his priority so has been getting most through. No one trusts most of these guys to even TRY to do what they say. Authenticity is why Sanders does so well in motivating people, even those who think hes too Left at least believe he will actually change things or die trying. We want real change? Get money out of politics. Overturn Citizens United, enact campaign reforms then the Left and Right can duke it out honestly without the media and corporations rigging the elections,
So y’all want me to write in Bernie as a protest vote yet again? Four more years of the Tangerine TwitterQueen? DNC should look for a win, not fighting to keep the status quo.
@Andy S OK! Just watch and see
@Andy S And your proof of this assertion with numbers showing how Democrats in 2016 (aside from deciding it was a two-candidate primary race long before that should have been decided) caused Donald Trump, a corporate donor himself, to win? That logic is illogical. If you hate corporate types who donate to Democrats, you don’t vote for the head of the Trump Corporation for president (nor for Bloomberg, nor for Steyer, regardless of their promises on this or that issue). The voters who do not belong to the rich class and put Trump over the top did so because of his rhetoric, not his economic policy, which was just promises of paradise with no coherent plan (anathema to Trump) to get there. He won because he told them that they should hate people different from themselves and people who don’t spend all day telling them how wonderful they are (as he expects others to do with him), which is what they had been doing in their heads and on talk radio for years anyway. Surely tapping into that mindset provided at least the 70,000 votes he needed in the three crucial states, as it turned out. Had Sanders been the nominee, Trump would have dished out that rhetoric in even more vitriolic terms.
@Gnirol Namlerf trump campaigned to the left of hillary most of the campaign on many different issues. Even though he lied. He said he would stop the unnecessary wars, bring back jobs, talked about draining the swamp. He lied about all this stuff but he still did a way better job than hillary campaigning. And if Bernie would have been the nominee, Bernie would have won. Trumps attacks wont work on an uncorruptable politician who has been fighting for the same thing his entire life
These Democratic nominees are all embarrassments. Plain and simple.
He helped Steve Mnuchin forclose on thousands of people’s homes. No interest in this corporate fraud .
@Gino Jones lol im from MA this guy is male kamala
You can have sanders Warren or tulsi thats it
@Alicia Garcia Bernie 2020
@Gino Jones “…once John Durham’s investigation indicts half of the Obama Administration…” Yeah. Riiiiiiiiight.
The only thing Bloomberg should be doing is figuring out a way to buy Fox News. We don’t need anymore candidates mucking up the race.
Narrator: he didn’t become president
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What an insult to those already in the running. I don’t see a savior in any of these late entries. I picked Mayor Pete for the win the first time I heard him speak, and I’m holding to that.
I can’t take anymore candidates! Just wait!
Indictments coming.2019.
Then whistleblowers proving that Barr’s investigation was a fraud.
Politicians love kicking problems down the road been thirty years now.
Nope stay out Deval U are not thae answer either!
Who looks at all the candidates we have to pick from and thinks hmm yeah one more to pick from would be perfect.
I do.
Look at Morning Joe creating controversy and now making shows talking about the drama they stirred up. Classic.
the more the merrier, I bet Kirsten Gillibrand is kicking herself right now for not waiting too
He’ll barely make a ripple.
He means “the Dems who’ve established momentum are too far left and will endanger the GOP tax cuts we pretend to hate, but never do anything about, bc centrist Dems like corps.”
Go write THAT everywhere! Totally true. It cannot be stated enough times. Thank you.
Even moderates don’t like Corp centrists. If in fact he is a corporatist then he isn’t offering anything better but on the other hand if he has better ideas then he should compete.
What? Bernie and Warren are killing it.. all these “centrists” are just more of the same old crap. we want change not more of the same.
Bernie is doing great. Warren is riding Bernie’s coattails
warren is not a threat. all this proves that bernie is the real frontrunner and is poised to win the nomination. rock steady, keep working for bernie 2020.
One more piece of crap in the Democratic Presidential Cesspool.
Do not worry You , The DNC, Republican party and Trump will all feel the Bern next year.
@Gilbert Gaines Oh please, the Socialist Democrats will get The Bern out just like they did when Hillary was running. You Socialist will not have a President anytime soon.
Love the Conservatives and establishment trying to tell us what we want in a candidate.
