Can we get some really great teachers who are exceptional in their craft and delivery for some core subjects like mathematics, english, science and IT. Put them in a mock classroom setting, tape each session and deliver said taped lessons to deep rural schools for distribution on reliable storage devices such as USBs, memory cards, DVDs–no need for internet, multiple storage devices meant more than one option to watch, watch anytime and more than once. Follow up with written exercises and teachers having phone based assessment of students progress.
For those in grade 7 and above, they should be conscious enough to be let back into school on a shift basis.
