Cognitive enhancing drugs, also known as "nootropics" or "smart drugs", could have real benefits for people like doctors, military personnel, air traffic controllers and shift workers if trials were brought in to ensure long-term safety, according to a prominent scientist.
"Nootropics" is the buzzword for a new generation of substances taken to make users think faster, remember for longer and concentrate harder.

the best natural way to boost memory is to practice mindfulness. and it
does take practice get a better memory
Agree! I am working on weekly mindfulness classes and daily mindfulness
self sessions at home. Plus CBT excercises, regular sudoku and constant
reading of full score sheet music, as an aid to reducing and coming off my
stimulant ADHD medicine. Mindfulness is key. I don’t ever drink alcohol
either since I began ADHD medicine many years ago, and I don’t miss it.
Currently I am taking only 70% of the ADHD medication I am supposed to, and
the goal to be medicine free by next summer, where I want to travel for one
week by myself without medication, albeit with back up in case of.
