  1. If it’s such a hoaxy hoax, then why did Mike Pence cancel events in Florida & Arizona? Explain, girr.

    1. @Frank Manning Well, he certainly doesn’t take it seriously. He said it’d be gone after Easter.

    2. @🏜️₲ɾɑղԵॐ𝅗𝅥 Yet he said numerous times that it was real–i.e., not a hoax. Also, do you really want to start making lists of all of the WRONG things the “experts” said about coronavirus in the last five months? How Newsom predicted millions of deaths in California alone? How Fauci said masks probably wouldn’t help, before he said they probably would, before he said they definitely will? Should I go on?

    3. @8 fortress – Joe Biden and Liberalism isn’t the answer to anything. We’ve already seen an Economy under Joe Biden, and it was Total Trash for 8 long years

    1. @O. B. , I wonder what the remaining cast of Monty Python think of this pandemic . Cleese lives in California now.

    1. @Frank Manning It’s called evidenced based knowledge, your previous comments gave you away; you’re a pathetic loser that questions a very well researched source of news. You cant show any evidence that they have said anything that is factually inaccurate, but you try to slander them anyway. You’d rather believe in little green aliens and UFO’s and that the earth is flat and the moon landing was staged rather than face reality. I stand by my assessment.

    2. @Tidbit LOL! Of course you stand by your assessment; you don’t know any better! On the other hand, I stand by my claim that you used a straw man fallacy against me because it’s right there in plain sight. No speculation or fallacious reasoning required.

    3. Having had mild case of COVID-19 (my claim to fame being in the same ward as Tom Hanks here in Au), IT AINT NO HOAX. Please think of others above yourself. By not wearing a mask, you’re saying that YOUR life is more important than everyone else on the planet combined. THIS IS A GLOBAL PROBLEM – AMERICA – STOP IT!

    4. No one ordered people to go drink at bars. Just “gave” them the freedom to do so. You know “freedom?” Like what this country is all about? Go read a history book you clown.

    5. @Colleen Kelly Why are you chastising America? And who said it was a hoax? Some random person on the internet?

  2. Don’t believe the lies! There is and has been enough money for
    #MEDICAREFORALLAMERICANCITIZENS
Reroute our money to saving American lives!

    1. about 20 studies say that M4ALL will save about 60% on the cost.Right now everything is driven by profit including a rushed reopening and we will suffer the consequences of it. We need to base our model on a european one which is Safety net (heroes act) and uniform federal regulation on this issue and most of all NO TOLERANCE FOR *KARENS* if people don’t wear a mask they should be fined 10k+ and jailed for a year, they can get their herd immunity in prison

  3. Indoor bars where there’s poor air ventilation are Covid hotbeds.
Covid loves them, like tornadoes love trailer parks.
85 bar patrons who attended one East Lansing, MI bar just tested positive for Covid.

    1. @Lynn The same old corrupt status quo do-nothing , do-lally Dem politicians is why you got Trump. Hoo-ray!

    2. @john emeigh I wish it was that simple. Stay at home? Tell that to the moms and dads who need to feed their kids and keep a roof over their heads. Tell that to the millions of workers with conditions that put them at greater risk who have to work to keep their health insurance. Unfortunately, most people don’t have the luxury of staying at home until 2021.

  4. To be honest we have not even done a first wave and this is precisely what happens. Welcome to another lockdown everyone.

    1. Bat Boy I was worried about that myself, but we appear to have gotten lucky in that regard for the most part with a much smaller impact then feared. Despite all the protests, New York’s numbers haven’t experienced a spike and are still decreasing. It may have inadvertently showed the risk of spread is much lower outdoors when masks are worn, so it’s those indoor areas(especially if masks aren’t worn) where it’s spreading like crazy.

    2. Bat Boy absolutely they have, Trump put all his limited focus on the protests and finding ways of escalating them instead of helping fight the virus, so yes of course the protests had an effect

    1. yep the little genie to be pulled out of the hat anytime it is politically expedient! !

    2. @Kristopher Carmona Ok’ if you want to be honest about this, well trump is mostly the blame for this situation that were in, BIGLY!
      1. Trump was warned about the Coronavirus months before it hit America.
      2. He didn’t prepare for it he just ignored it and called it a Hoax.
      3. He dismantled the pandemic system that was set up just for this kind of problem/situation.
      4. Trump is the so called president and he said the buck stops with him.
      5. Trump is being irresponsible giving campaign rallies laced with COVID-19. Spreading it.😎

  5. California should close non-essential travel from other states and people from outside CA who do get into CA should self-isolate for 14 days.

Here in New Zealand, when I returned home from my trip to New York, I had to self isolate at home for 14 days, as well as provide the MoH a record of my travel and interactions after the self isolation.

    1. I’ve been slowly stocking up just in case there’s another shortage. Still waiting on Lysol to return to the shelves.

    2. @Azoreanprincesa faith Depending on your storage space, you can get a pack every other week or every week.

  6. People had a fantasy that when summer arrived it would fade and then return in the fall. There’s no fade and when the second wave hits it will be on top of the first.

    1. @Bro Andrew can’t help it. He’s mentally ill. Delusional. And he flushed his meds down the toilet during his most recent mental breakdown. The cops were called, and Bro Andrew was involuntarily hospitalized. Thank god, he’s in a locked mental ward. The rest of us are safe as long as Bro Andrew is locked up.

    2. @Frank Manning “not just the US”

The US is not in a comparable position: it is still in its first wave

  7. The need to continue adhering the guidelines set by the scientific community are certainly showing. Ignoring the standards will just continue this nightmare.

  8. This is what we get … ignorant selfish people. Just making this whole thing go on and on a on.

    1. Exactly….People whining because they couldn’t have a drink or get their haircut😑I only go out for necessities,Food and household items. I’ve been wearing a mask 100% of the time and I cut my own hair in the mirror with a pair of clippers. I seen this coming months ago,Because people are selfish and they only care about themselves….You gotta think about everyone.

    2. We could solve all of this w a nationwide 30day shutdown… I mean, they shut down the government for longer.

  9. Counties affected, no thx to the NEWS here: Los Angeles, Fresno, Kern, San Joaquin, Tulare, Kings and Imperial.

    1. The state needs to be locked down again. This playing games is costing lives. Why wait? Our problems are not all at the very top, people. Remember that.

    2. @Tham Nguyen Because lock downs destroy lives and they aren’t necessary. If we keep locking down, we’re just delaying the inevitable.

  10. Dont forget to use hand sanitizers. They are as important as wearing masks. The infection can be picked up from the hands, and hands automatically go to the mouth and eyes.
