  1. As soon as stampede is over and the politicians pocket the kickbacks the masks will be back.

    1. @Jack Theladd OMG. I live an hour away, and my friends literally have to trick me to go there. Last time they asked if i wanted to go paintballing, then he drove onto the 401 and i was like NOOOOOOOOOO!

    2. Mandatory mask policies for OUTDOOR events where social distancing is easy to accommodate. It’s like living in the twilight zone

  2. Nenshi is so disappointed that he can’t force Calgarians to wear a mask until literally 2022.

    1. @Kiel Widmeyer Yes, because Kenney removed the provincial mandate. Otherwise Calgary’s mask mandate would still be in place.

  3. Australia just relocked down. It’s winter there. Just wait till flu season and let’s see what happens.

    1. @Speaking Moistly and the government there is just as corrupt as our government. Go back to sleep.

  4. I find it ironic that the councillor against it isn’t even wearing her mask correctly.

To those who want to keep wearing masks, nobody’s stopping you.

    1. @Ewen Chan You can get Covid from a T-shirt? Wow, that’s new. Do you have any references?

    2. @James Peterson
How dumb do you have to be to think that you can contract SARS-CoV-2 from a T-shirt???

      LOLLLL……

  5. Masks in city facilities, and transit…..but movie theatres, and restaurants are okay……no science or logic from these fools. 🤦‍♂️ I’d love to see the studies that show covid spreads on transit but not restaurants.

    1. @Herbert PIlgrim If your talking about Mayor Nenshi you don’t have to look any further than his waistline for his corruption lol.

    2. @Matthew Leclaire: You are so right, I’ve been calling that “Covid Logic” for a while now such as its safe on the playing field but not in the audience, it’s safe to sit at a table in a restaurant but not to stand up, safe to gather in one place but not another, and the list goes on.

  6. Looks like western Canada is the place to be. Quebec and Ontario still require a face diaper, getting quite ridiculous.

    1. Ontario and Quebec are the reasons Canada is in so much debt and why my country is going down hill.

  7. It’s about bloody time the masks went away for this Casedemic! Yahoo! Been way too long…

  8. so lets pretend that wearing in the places they are still wanting them has anything to do with anything ???… better than 100 per cent masks I guess..???

    1. The problem is those types of folks usually want to impose their paranoia and hypochondria onto everyone else.

  9. That lady wearing her mask said, “It protects me.”

Looks like she didn’t get the memo.

    1. @Krikit If “research is mixed”, I’m thinking that not wearing masks at all would be safe, because some research says that masks are useless.

    2. @Krikit No, it isn’t. If masks worked, then there should be some correlation between the implementation of mask mandates and subsequent case counts.

There is NO such correlation anywhere.

While correlation is not necessarily causation, if there is NO correlation there CANNOT be causation.

    3. @Krikit The masks provide no protection, and limit spread or transmission of disease by a minimal amount . The largest number I’ve seen on a study prior to 2020 is 1.8% . Statistically meaningless in a so called pandemic.

  10. How do you “ease into” stopping the mask mandate? Require them to be worn over the mouth only?

  11. I had the most wonderful interaction in the store today. Another shopper and I smiled at each other the biggest smiles we could muster and then proceeded to talk about how great it was to smile at each other with more than our eyes. We complimented each other and went on our way.
