Yes, I knew a woman who stopped a rolling bus from hitting a group of school children. She worked as a substitute teacher but she could not get a teaching job despite an Ivy League diploma because she was hearing-impaired. She became hearing-impaired because she lived on a US army air force base during World War 2 and the loud planes damaged her hearing. Her husband was a Army pilot she left college to marry, who died In a training accident when his plane exploded in mid- air. She acquired a limp running after the runaway bus, if I remember correctly. All this actually happened; but in those days saving the lives of children only made the local papers.
They should have a bus stop in the safe area. It is not safe to let kids out of the bus in the middle of the road. We are supposed to drive on the road. The school authorities Are responsible. Not the driver.

Umm… the car was no where near the kid… plus he would have Obv checked before crossing, I don’t get why she stopped it where it was too? Why not pull over by the pavement?
