For me… God Save the King, doesn’t have the same ring… She will be sorely missed. She managed the nation well after being left in shambles and the passing of her father. She stabilized and insured a future for the British people. I pray for the new King that he may be as gracious and above all, a stabilizing figure.

liz truss is off to a running start with speeches like this . hope she finishes as well . i feel time will increase the value of the legacy that her majesty gave us . just from my view from the back blocks of aus , it’s hard to find the adequate words to express the quality of her service . as i heard one person say .an absolute masterclass in how to do it right to uplift the people you have been called to lead . one of my favourite memories is when she gave michelle obama a hug . and another on her visit to ireland walked out of a protestant church went over the road into the catholic church. what an awesome display of how to use power to send a positive message and uplift others . she was one of the very few who had the character and wisdom and strength to use power in a positive way. when we just cast our eyes around and see self proclaimed wise leaders absolutely misusing their power to bring destruction . what a contrast .
