The Washington Post reports Mark Sandy, from the Office of Management and Budget, is expected to defy the White House and testify this weekend in the impeachment probe. According to The Post, Sandy’s signature appears on at least one of the letters that prevented the money from going to Ukraine. Yes, there is a video clip of Biden boasting about Shokin. Biden was proud of removing a CORRUPT man that Europe, the UN and IMF had ASK Joe Biden to assist with. Biden was helping to usher in democracy to Ukraine.
Biden never ever asked for his son to be protected from Shokin. In fact, Shokin ignored Burisma for over a year before Joe Biden showed up.
Five simple facts you people refuse to grasp.
1.Europe and the US gave MILLIONS of dollars of aid to Ukraine to so that the country could protect themselves against Russia.
2. Biden in collaboration with Europe, the UN and IMF helped to get Ukraine to clean up its corruption.
3. The prosecutor that replaced the corrupt Shokin (Kremlin backed hold over) found NO EVIDENCE of wrongdoing on Hunter’s part.
4. Shokin was corrupt (Kremlin back hold over) and refused to investigate any case (including Burisma) unless he received kickbacks.
5. The Ukraine parliament overwhelmingly voted to fire Shokin.
Why do you people not understand that?
Again, there is a difference between NATIONAL and INTERNATIONAL POLICY and personal self-interest. Biden was working on policy. Trump was working on getting dirt on his political rival. Under OATH, Volker stated how he repeatedly warning Guiliani who was truly corrupting and who was not. Volker stated to Guiliani that Biden was executing USA POLICY and the international community at the time.
Trumpers, you need to research into why Biden (along with the rest of the Western-allied countries who by the way have given more foreign aid to Ukraine than the USA) wanted that particular prosecutor, Shokin removed. Giuliani tried to get a US visa for Shokin. Curious. The Ukraine has a sordid twenty past years of bitter struggles, threats, war, and CORRUPTION. Do you remember the poisoning of one of Ukraine’s anti-Putin president – Yushchenko? Russia poisoned him with dioxin in order to get rid of him because he was anti-Russian. On top of that, for years the country refused to clean up the corruption in its government. As vice president, Joe Biden was tasked with reducing corruption in Ukraine after Yanukovych—eventually charged with “mass killing of civilians”— exiled himself to Crimea amid threats of civil war. Europe, EU, IMF and the USA were all working together to (under the PRO-WESTERN new president Poroshenko) pressure the Ukraine to clean up corruption. The special prosecutor, Shokin was a major player in the corruption. The Ukraine parliament overwhelmingly voted to fire Shokin.
Along with the UK, EU, IMF and the UN…Biden was constantly warning the Ukraine government that the special prosecutor, Shokin was dragging his feet on important investigations in turn for alleged bribes. It had nothing to do with his son, Hunter. Shokin was not investigating Hunter ….in fact, Shokin was not investigation anything. After Shokin did RESIGN, the new prosecutor had then investigated the entire company Hunter Biden worked for, found no criminal activity, and closed their investigation. The person Shokin, Biden bragged about getting rid of was corrupt and the UK, EU and the UN were all happy. People in Ukraine thought removing him was the right thing to do.
Does Trump or his followers understand the history and reputation of the Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin? He was corrupt to the core. There have been many allegations of bribery, extortion, and basic neglect and lack of diligence. The Ukraine people even marched in the streets several times against this man. He was HATED in Ukraine and when he left his office people celebrated.

Remember the Shokin affidavit document every Trumper and Giuliani (pushed by the proven liar John Solomon) rely on to ‘prove’ Biden’s corruption? The supposedly stellar testimony of Shokin that is floating on google that all Trump supporters post a link to? Here is the truth…. any point I made below can easily be verified on google. The Dmitry Firtash document that Giuliani waves around is a statement of Shokin (the corrupt prosecutor) who is one of the engines that encouraged systemic corruption in Ukraine. Firtash is also a person who has heavy ties with Russia and Russian organized crime. He was award exclusive rights to buy gas from Russia (ummmmm and he finalizes a statement against Hunter and his gas company Burisma …sounds fishy). And then the one and only Paul Manafort comes in and fights against Yulia Tymoshenko (Pro-western) who was investigating Firtash. Yulia – she ends up in jail due to Manafort’s efforts. Firtash is UNDER HOUSE ARREST in Austria. Fighting extradition order for corruption, fraud and conspiracy charges. And guess who one of his lawyers is? GIULIANI. The lawyers retained by Firtash are Victoria Toensing and Joseph diGenova (huge Trump supporter on Fox News), according to representatives for Firtash and for the attorneys.

I was a Never-er, but I now will not vote for any GOP candidate for many years to come. I just switched affiliation from Republican to Democrat. I have always considered myself independent, but primaries require a registration as one or the other. Republicans have shown themselves to be weak and spineless. I always thought it was the Democrats who were that way, but Democrats are not so weak — many of them are still quite spineless though, especially within the old guard.
