John Bolton, the former national security adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump is imploring Canada to “bear with” the United States when it comes to the extradition proceedings of Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou. Bolton says, despite the ongoing and “clearly” political detention of Canadians Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor, there shouldn’t be a “prisoner swap” some are suggesting.
