One thing I think we have all learnt about Putin is you just have to call his bluff.
Yeah, the bluff he responded on on 24 Feb 2022🤡
@Francisco Arroyo Those four territories you mentioned are the four he foolishly claimed he had ‘annexed’. Putin at no time has had complete control of them. After 3 weeks of partial control of 3 of these territories his military is now battling in small parts of 2 of them to allow him time to transport what remains of his artillery, transport vehicles and soldiers back into Russia before winter. He is in retreat, he has no military ‘powers’ to ‘consolidate’ in Ukraine. For weeks, from a distance he has concentrated what is left of his missiles and imported Iranian drones on killing non-combatant civilian men, women, children and the destruction of infrastructure in Ukraine’s major cities.
The challenge for Ukraine’s military, NATO and the rest of the Democratic free World is to prevent Putin’s military from regrouping, rearming, resupplying, refuelling and then returning for another ‘crack’ in Spring. For now, Putin is no longer fighting to defeat Ukraine, his battle now is to save his own life.
@Altus Pienaar ‘What did Ukraine plan to do with such a massive army’? Well, better I let you tell me that Ukraine amassed its massive army on the Donbass front line in preparation for its ‘plan’ to liberate Russia from its Nazis!
He’s a typical bully – tries to look big in the front, but a small, weak man in the back.
@Ross Evans thats your perspective, but te people of Donbass has a very different one.
For them after being shelled for the past 8 years it was there to crush them and to wipe them from the face of the planet.
Did you know that the Ukrainian army started heavy shelling of the breakaway Donbass regions on the 17 of February this year? I guess not🙄
Herr Pootin’s move must be admirable after his army in Crimea is hiding from a country without any navy. Slava Ukraini.
@Will Tell All How can you be so stupidly gullible? That is SO pathetic!
@Will Tell All It seems that you support Rusich, Svarozhich and Ratibor.
@Will Tell All Putin’s a fascist and fascism needs to be defeated.
Everything is going to the plan. Unfortunately, the plan itself is a blunder.
@wamblue Yup, Blue wave baby!
Which law on Planet Earth says changing of mind is not allowed and required criticism ?
@Jr Kr the laws of planet earth are laws of physics not behavior. But if you mean Putler he doesn’t change his mind he just changes his story. Satan wasn’t on stage in acts one and two of my very very very badly thought out invasion.

Putin has no exit strategy. Like Hitler at the end of WW2, he thinks that he is invincible but is embarrassed by his military losses and is desperately striking out. Near his end, Hitler suffered from tertiary (late stage) syphilis. Perhaps Putin has a similar problem. Russia must be made to pay for Putin’s war crimes.
Even the day Hitler died he was still commanding generals to move units of his now non existent army around Berlin.
Generals: Just nod yes
@Lewis Balentine That’s the point. Russia criticized the US for not succeeding there, despite the fact Russia lost there as well.
@Notcho Momma yup winter is coming and russia’s ill-equipped troops are going to freeze to death.
Punish Putin and those who assist him in this criminal act, NOT the Russian people
YOU suffer from syphilis, Hitler did not. You are making shyt up.
Look at the map! Ukrainian food goes to India and China (among others). Seems obvious that Putin greatly annoyed his allies by cutting off the food.
true, if you steal your friends dinner then he`s no longer your mate
What allies ?
@Jennifer Conroy He doesn’t, but India and China leaders were pissed off….
@Jennifer Conroy No, he cares only about himself. Think about it…..
The chinese and indian bots on here would have you thinking otherwise
Russia said “we are not going to invade Ukraine” and then proceeded to invade. Since then they have lied many more times. They have damaged their diplomatic reputation greatly, and their word is worth very little at this time.
@Jr Kr he didn’t change his mind. It was a plan from the beginning. But what you are saying is that you believed that lie as the truth. Didn’t you
@jose carlos True but UN is a joke. It just doesn’t function properly
He already invaded in 2014. He’s also been saying for years that his goal is to “reunify the soviet union”.
Pooptin, the aggressor, demanding security guarantee from the victim Ukraine. Insane … The genocidal orc can go face the business end of the HIMARS for the good of all
Remember how they closed the grain treaty earlier this year and violeted it like 12 hours later by bombing Odessa?
Remember how they used gas as a weapon against Europe?
Remember how they use grain as a weapon against Africa and Central America?
Yeah, Russia can not be trusted and should not be trusted for decades. They made their bed, they can jolly fucking well sleep in it. No future trade deal should treat them as trustworthy partners on eye-level. If they want a trade deal, their non-fulfillment should cost them dearly.
For instance: No more money up front, Russia delivery of goods before payment. In terms of gas/oil and so on, they need to supply a set amount per month and year, if they fail to meet that amount even by just a fucking cubic inch, they get no money at all until they made up the deficit. Full stop.
A quote Putin might want to consider: “The victor is not victorious if the vanquished does not consider himself so.”. Russia can decide to start the war without the consent of Ukraine, but they can’t decide to end it without the consent of Ukraine.
@David_Jones What would be the point of conquering a radioactive wasteland with no people?
@wamblue oh, thats a good one, shucks did your mom write it?!?
The end may see Ukraine actually liberating Russia. Imagine Moscow under their rule.
Russia could end the war by leaving Ukraine completely. However that would not absolve them of the responsibility to pay for the damages they have inflicted on Ukraine – not to mention bringing them to justice for all the war crimes they have committed there.
They can end it quite fast if they wanted to. But that’s not the point.
Russia probably rejoined the grain deal because they couldn’t enforce a blockade because they either didn’t have the ships or their ships suddenly became too vulnerable to attack.
@Ryan Sauchuk He could’ve enforced the blockade and arrested the crews. But he doesn’t want that smoke….
Erdogan must him made realize, that the ships will sail anyways – under protection of the turkish navy.
@Ryan Sauchuk That blood thirsty bastard will do anything.
Yup. I was curious so I poked around. Some of the missiles hitting UA infrastructure (or just.. people) were launched by some of the Black Sea fleet. So he was claiming the Russian warships were there to ensure compliance and safe passage of Russi..er.. Ukrainian grain south while using at least some of those ships to attack. I haven’t seen anyone connect all those dots but, last week there were reports that Putin’s ships were launching Kalibr cruise missiles into Ukraine and it looks like *faux shocked* UA had the audacity to push them back. Since Turkey has closed passage in, Russia can’t bring in any replacements for lost ships.
@dreamcoyote Sharp observation, thank you.
There was a period in England when water authorities regulations required houses to have at least 24 hours water storage. We had a large tank in our attic from which water was drawn and which was automatically refilled from the city supply.
Perhaps it is now time to have large LOCAL water storages!!
England isn’t exactly a desert. Water is plentiful there. Maybe you should be more worried about food storage.
It’s really a good idea for EVERY home everywhere to have a water storage system. You never know when there may be a natural disaster too.
@Robin Lillian : Maybe you don’t know England had a 40C heatwave last summer and the reservoirs still haven’t recovered from it.
Grain continues to go out thru Poland & the Baltic. Europe can certainly obtain it that way as well. Turkey’s fleet is far superior to (what is left of) the Black Sea Fleet. Putin is pretty toothless on this one.
reminds me of a ego boss.. That threatens his staff.. so his staff quits and finds better work.. then the boss’s company shuts down.
How come every time Ukraine hits a legitimate target Russia gets really butt-hurt? Do they not think their actions have consequences?

@AcidBot66 Sachs is a distinguished tool and you are a bot. Go away.
Karma’s gonna get ya, sicko RuZZia!
The largest challenge for Russia isn’t winning the war; not in the sense that the “special military operation” is running swimmingly, it’s just that they could conceivably lose militarily and still achieve their REAL goal. Which is not “denawtfing Ukraine” or anything like that.
The real challenge and goal is convincing Russian population that they’re on the right side of history and that Putin is doing the right thing and should receive visible public support come next election in 15 months. Naturally they’ll fake the election results and rig the list of candidates, but they need it to look vaguely plausible, vaguely legitimate. All international proclamations are part of domestic PR campaign.
Fact of the matter is, people haven’t been happy with Putin as of late. One and a quarter million people or more died in Russia as a consequence of COVID19 – not necessarily from the disease itself, but from the mismanagement of the medical system, half-hearted measures, and public mistrust towards the domestic vaccine which was the only one made available. The calculation was, a little swift and elegant international success could fix it, lift the nationalist spirits, just like it did in 2014 and 2008. Now this obviously hasn’t quite worked out, but they might well turn it around into the next best thing. They’ve actually been vaguely successful with this, the imagery Russians see is not of missiles hitting residential blocks, but Russian soldiers standing around idly and handing out “humanitarian aid”. When they knock out central heating in Kharkiv, it’s “damaging vital military power infrastructure”. When a mass grave becomes impossible to hide any longer, it’s either “Ukrainian savage n-words shooting each other” or “amateur theatre performance for the camera, they’re actually still moving”. Most Russians are entirely detached from reality. One of the main narratives is that they’re fighting “the combined force of NATO”, which, well, where’s the shame in losing against the mighty and evil USA+UK?
Don’t mind that this doesn’t create a cohesive logical framework. The propaganda works on an emotional rather than logical level. Some people will believe it no matter what because they don’t want to feel like they’re on the wrong side of history and supported this monster, others will believe it in the absence of direct juxtaposition of contradictions, lacking independent media.
Russia didn’t reverse anything. They just accepted that they didn’t have the power to stop it. At least not without attacking Turkish naval vessels, costing them one of the few countries in the region that can even tolerate them at this point in time
It should be noted that as Turkey is part of NATO, if Russia attacked one of their ships the Russian Black Sea fleet would be on the ocean floor by the end of the day
@Collin MacInnis The word out is that Ukraine will be engaging in another mobilization to recruit 100,000 servicemen. This figure matches exactly the figure reported by the Russian MOD for casualties Ukraine suffered in their recent offensives.
@Riverside Garden Radio Ukrainian energy infrastructure is damaged – so what? It’s only bad for the city residents. Rural houses usually keep themselves warm with traditional wood stoves. People in the city are having to find ways around that, shelter together sharing generators outside, move to where there is heat and power, it’s rough but nothing they haven’t prepared for.
And military? It runs on diesel anyway, they just roll out a generator! Rail as well, diesel powered. Ukrainian Rail isn’t fully electrified, and where it is electrified, it’s two competing power standards, so all longer distance cargo loads run diesel hybrid locomotives.
The… mobilised forces. Yeah about that. Given the level of competence and performance Russian troops from active service displayed, which was very… mixed to be EXTRA generous, how much of a difference is a bunch of people going to make, that hadn’t held a gun in decades and didn’t volunteer to be there? Within a few months, they might get a little better at that gun holding thing, but their motivation level isn’t about to improve, and they’re facing half a million ANGRY, NATO-trained Ukrainians… Keep in mind this isn’t just a military on military confrontation. Civilians in Ukraine greatly lighten the load of the military by providing reconnaissance behind enemy lines and doing lots of non-frontline tasks and forming resistance brigades, the whole population of the country is behind the Ukrainian military. Ukraine has a massive home turf advantage.
@Riverside Garden Radio difference being… Ukrainians would except loses to hold onto what they have… and more to push them out… the clock is ticking for putin… think his allies will support a prolonged war… alot of them are facing there own issues right now. Same world wide.. great time to invade a country right after a pandemic.. let’s go bankrupt everyone…
@Siana Gearz They weren’t prepared for this they were told that they were winning.
@Riverside Garden Radio
Quite right. The Russians weren’t prepared, and it shows.
Putin the Great Blunderer. History is being written.
He would win the GOP nomination in a landslide

That’s usually the job of the Azov Brigade
By indiscriminately attacking Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure they have actually attacked the weakest and sickest which makes Russia the cruelest nation since Nazi Germany. Their cruelty is therefore unparalleled. Eventually they will face global judgment and condemnation for their actions towards civilians and the Ukrainian nation who have done nothing against Russia but stand up to them. The Russians being the aggressors, the latter will see that history is never very kind to them. Russia is going to lose a lot to their reputation and every day this war goes on, their reputation goes down.
It’s not the Russian people. It’s Putin.

Yep, and it’s all because of American politicians forcing NATO to expand into Ukraine, including the secret bioweapons labs that were discovered in Ukraine to be set up by USA.
Thank you for this comment. You are quite right.
You watch to much fake news
I am a Ukrainian woman. I appreciate everyone on this thread for your empathy and compassion towards heroic Ukraine.
It’s not hard to pick sides (I can’t believe that country with more than a billion people). Even with all the misinformation, just put the Russian truth beside the Ukrainian truth. Clearly, the Kremlin’s truth is twisted, crooked, malicious, and clearly criminal. It’ll be a great day when the evil in the Kremlin is defeated.
💛💙 Stay safe!
The free world is next to you!!!
@Mark Hammer when has Russia ever been great?
I LOVE YOU ! STAY BLESS UKRAINIAN WOMAN !
He wants the world to think he is a humanitarian after cutting off someone’s grain supply then relenting and allowing them to access it again? And it isn’t even his grain to begin with? This isn’t exactly worthy of a Nobel Prize.
You can’t trust a thing that Putin says except only that he will say what he wants you to believe for his benefit. Listen to his words to know what he is saying, but listen to his actions to know what they mean. Sometimes, we just have to do what we think is right in response to his actions and not be afraid.
Zelensky is just a good guy. People will learn so much from his leadership skills. He’s a class act.
