@Bat Boy The electoral college is there for a reason. Just because you live in a large city doesn’t mean you get to determine the fate of the entire country for the rest of eternity. Americans take a dim view of mob rule on the national level, and for good reason. They cleverly hide this information in history books, perhaps crack one open sometime.
@Cindy Klenk Indeed, it’s a silly mental picture… but here’s one that isn’t quite as funny. Though the folks in here don’t realize it, they just revealed that they are the type of people that would be fine with a politician telling them exactly what they can and cannot do with their own food, and (like all mandates) giving him the right to enforce that mandate by force. It speaks volumes that the consequence of your own (hypothetical) actions never occur to you. By all means, carry on.
