@Gary Campbell And yet the Electoral College, House of Representatives, and Senate all give smaller states a greater proportional representation than larger states. Also we should just have the house. The Senate is a system of government from a by gone era when states viewed themselves as separate countries in a federation and they wanted to be seen as equals. Just because the states that have already signed on are Democratic doesn’t mean that it won’t change the future of the Electoral College. What if a Democrat government was elected in Texas and they decided to jump on? Just because it doesn’t work now, doesn’t mean it won’t work in the future.

Minnesota is in play for Trump. Biden is campaigning there on Friday which means their own internal polling must be showing that they are at risk of losing it otherwise they wouldn’t need to go there. MN hasn’t voted RED in nearly 50 years.

The polls don’t determine the outcome. It’s the votes, the count that matters.
or, possibly the courts, as in 2000 when Gore received more votes in Florida—but the courts stopped the count before they could count all the mail in ballots and Bush was declared the winner of Florida’s electoral votes and thus winner of the electoral college and the next president in 2000.

He’s choosing MN over PA, which may mean their internal polling is indicating PA is slipping away from him. Biden is down 10 points in Philly and Trump is up 9, which means Trump could get upwards of 24% of the Philly vote and this was before the riots. *Edit: Biden is down 10 pts compared to Hillary 2016 while Trump is up 9 from 2016.* This would easily give him PA.
