God bless Joe
I’m waiting anxiously for the day religious institutions will share in taxes as well
Those that politicize their sermons have violated the terms of their tax-exempt status.
You’d have to include the Cathedral of MSDNC in that
Don’t hold your breath. They haven’t paid taxes in 2000 years and they don’t intend to start now.
They certainly stick their noses into politics.
@Harvey Manfredsenjenson Ah, no, not quite. See, this isn’t religion, it’s reality.
Very good news!
We definitely need a global minimum tax!! These corporations will be limited when it comes to moving their companies for reduced tax obligations. 💯💯💯💯💯💯
Who will enforce it? Wall St? LMAO
Corporations don’t pay taxes, we do! Put a $1 tax on gas, gas goes up $1.25. This isn’t magic or a conspiracy theory, it’s how accounting works. A tax is a cost, if costs increase so does the end product by an equal or greater amount. Politicians know this, corporations fund their campaigns, they count on us not knowing it.
From “I want dictators, including me, to rule the world with violence and oppression and horde all the wealth and power.”
To “Let’s stop these tax havens for huge companies that enable them to escape their obligation to pay taxes in the very countries they operate in and benefit from.”
NZ companies already pay 28 percent..
And that’s why there are no companies in New Zealand – just sheep and unemployed people – right MSNBC panel of ‘experts’? /s
If you want nice things, you have to pay for them. Nothing is free. Let the “corporations” leave. The workers are the ones with the know-how in terms of production capabilities. Give them the plant and equipment of the exiting traitors, and keep the work here.
Communism huh
@Armandhammer No, a socialized representative democratic republic of America – the best of all worlds where fresh air, clean water, a living wage and God forbid health care are seen as HUMAN RIGHTS
@Harry Johnstone So communism dressed up as utopia. Seems people think if they keep rewrapping a failed concept that it will some how work this time for sure.
@David Nealy you mean like how Republicans keep pushing failed policies like trickle down economics?
Ireland and Comcast do not have to like it, the tax is levied in the country where the Company has delivered the goods.
The companies move production you dolt.
@Armandhammer Do not think the ultra-rich need your help mate
@Sofus Get your country to raise the tax rate, mate.
@Armandhammer My country is Denmark with the second highest tax rates in the world.
@Armandhammer Where do the companies move production to? It’s a global mandate.
yeeeeeees. this is excellent.
*Defund Billionaires – & – limit inheritances* to siblings to no more than 1 Million Dollars each.
Put the money in the USA and RAISE Minimum Wage to $60 Dollars an Hour.
Use Technology to reduce the Work Week to 25 hours a week..
That’s how it’s done!
So he wants to sign us up for something that started the Brexit?
Awesome
15% but there will be a loophole and end up paying less
Democracies just need to take care that the needs of their people are met, and there is healthy and sustainable economic growth and stability. 😘
Donald Trump has praised Joe Manchin for “doing the right thing” after the Democratic senator announced he will vote against scrapping the filibuster and his party’s Unconstitutional voting rights bill.
I don’t think anybody should be left out when going for digital assets
It’s about time! Should have happened 50 years ago!
US high taxes 😳. Yeah right😂
We need to even out the playing field!
