Medicare for All and people being able to afford medical care is what people need. You can’t expect to pay them less than $15 an hour and then tell them to go pay the cost of exhorbitant medical care, babes. Its contradictory. Just like Walmarts workers having to be on Food Stamps because they pay their workers too low, something has to give. If you are against paying workers living wages and you are against giving them affordable healthcare, then you are basically for them dying or going bankrupt. Not acceptable, babes.

Ann Linley Medicare for all is good but if the market and the people want it , some people really like their private insurance , it’s not fair to tell them now they have to pay into a government option && what are we actually doing with Medicare for all ? Are drug prices actually going down ? Or is the government covering more of the cost ? Is cancer treatment and surgeries cost going to go down ? Or is the government going to cover more of the cost … there’s a difference from lowering a drug cost from $200 to $90 and saying hey that drug is still $200 but we are going to pay $180 of the cost … I mean really , if treatment and medicine cost aren’t regulated then of course healthcare is going to be expensive no matter if it’s Medicare for all or not , until we regulate drug and treatment prices , I don’t want to pay into anything more than what I already am

What is “affordable” to you, Joe? I have over $600 taken out of my pay every month to cover just me and my son. I still have copays, which can get pretty high because we both need to see specialists, and there are some things we need that are just not covered so I’m fully responsible for those, and they’re not cheap! I’ll take Medicare For All over worrying if I can cover those surprise expenses or being sent to collections.
