Senate rules allow one person-McConnell- to control the whole US government. That’s crazy. Nothing in the Constitution gives one person such power. A President’s veto can be overruled. Why not decisions by Hoover Dam Mitch?

Nicotine was not addictive. It is. He refused to sign legislation helping AIDS patients because he disapproved of their lifestyle. Many heterosexual people died of AIDS. It was not up to him to pass judgment. There is supposed to be a separation between church and state. He therefore violated one of the core principles of the Constitution and the Founding Fathers who escaped to this country to free themselves of religious persecution.
