@Freight Train i really love how you’re trying to make it sound like you knew what I corrected you on. You seem like a very stable genius, someone unaware that cable TV was created in the late 40’s—but I won’t hold that against you. However, since you wanna get all technical with the semantics, your usage of “TV News” is still incorrect, as that encompasses cable TV News. You should have said “companies utilizing public broadcast infrastructure” as that is what the FD was regulating. And by the way, you didn’t address any of what I brought up in my original comment, only that Trump should have been censored which completely ignores everything I wrote. Your criticism of me is pure projection.

The flat earth people? Polite society used to think cigarettes were healthy, because those in power controlled the narrative. To this day, the US DGA, which creates what you might remember as the food pyramid in school, recommends that 10% of your diet come from added sugar. If you aren’t aware, that much sugar on a daily basis for 40 years WILL give you diabetes. The panel of scientists that recommends how the pyramid should be structured argued that the 10% should be slashed to 5%—but the government rejected that recommendation. Why? They claimed it was due to a lack of research on insulin resistance, which is a total and outright lie. The truth is that lobbyists for sugar wouldn’t allow it. So, I ask you again, who gets to decide what’s true and what’s false?

Why are representatives allowed to tell lies in the Senate or House? Members of Parliament in other democracies are not allowed to lie or even inadvertently mislead the parliament. If they do so they are required to apologise and set the record straight. If they refuse, they are punished, and it is extremely rare, if ever, that a parliamentarian would refuse to do as required.
