  1. Bernie is gonna win Iowa, then New Hampshire. Momentum will carry Nevada big and South Carolina will seal the nomination for Sanders early. #Bernie2020

    1. @LikeUnto Buddha @Oslo Vega You’re both correct if the elections were held today, but that’s the whole reason why Bernie is campaigning. The metric you should be looking at is trajectory, what is the overall movement over time of Bernie’s numbers, and he’s trending upward. This is more accurate than trying to read too deeply into a single snapshot of time.

    2. @Lucas Chin Far enough. Bernie Sanders has been running for President for what 6-7 years? The top of his”trajectory” has been reached. What else is he going to say? What else is going to promise to give away? I hear you say why doesn’t he get on TV more. maybe because he has been running for 6-7 years and everyone knows him. Compare him to Pete Buttigieg. He has been running for several months or so? so who has a larger upside? The one that everyone knows or a new guy?

    3. @Lucas Chin If you want to know one reason he will not make it is a same reason from 2016. A lot of his “support” comes from younger people. Younger people do not vote. You can tell me “yes they will”. But I’ve worked 11 Presidental Elections and I’ve heard it before. Guess who votes the most? Older white people and there are still a lot of them.

  2. The education system in the US is a mess. All school districts should be given the same amount per pupil regardless of the taxes collected in the districts, for starters.

    1. From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs

make actual progressive taxes that the rich cant weasel their way out of, distributed to schools according to the needs of their students. lots of kids have different issues that effect their education and each school needs the funding to address those issues.

    2. @pvtblue Funds don’t address there problems it is family and culture in which they live. Being outright disrespectful to teachers and not attending school and getting a diploma handed to them. We are doomed with the disrespectful youth we are bringing up. Money can’t fix that. Parents are the problem. They dont do anything to make kids listen I see it all over in the citys or suburbs or rural areas. Rural America is a bit better because most are conservative with religious values and respect Society. Liberal education and policies have destroyed America.

  3. “A man’s character is most evident by how he treats those who are not in a position either to retaliate or reciprocate.” – Paul Eldridge, 1948

    1. @Doug H what lies? people in Europe especially the Scandinavian countries have much better health care then the American at much lower cost..
Btw i live in Ireland so also pay much less then Americans.
There is a reason Americans do not get as old as European People.

    2. For having expressed an opinion, however far-fetched, we straightway become its slave, ready to die defending it, and even ready to believe it. And many continue to be martyrs to causes which have ceased to exist, their crowns rusting upon their heads as tin wreaths rust upon forgotten tombs. PAUL ELDRIDGE

If you want total security, go to prison. There you’re fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking… is freedom. DWIGHT EISENHOWER

    1. Daniel Duvalle: Don’t expect any Republican to understand that. They can’t think past a week into the future.

    1. @TheAileZX2 Biden is too old also. Why are all of you looking for your grandfather? Go visit him! The “Revolution” will be in wheelchairs.

    2. @TheAileZX2 I lived under Reagan, (before you were born) I saw it happened. What I was talking about was this Burnie 2ys in: “why is everyone calling me Mr President”

    3. @TheAileZX2 Sanders is older. Sanders’ mind is sharp, while Biden is showing that his is in the midst of active decline.

  5. He’s a breath of fresh air! If you want to know which kids need a bit of help ask the class teacher. They know without a test.

    1. @snoop alert, he’s been saying the same sort of thing for years. He needs to be president so his ideas can be implemented. It’s only recently that there have been Democrats behind him.

  6. To answer “What happens if we get rid of tests?” This is how it works:

Politicians: Tests show how badly our students are doing. We need tests to improve how well they do!
Teachers: With all the tests, we don’t have time to teach! How are we supposed to teach anything if all the time is spent preparing for tests?
    Politicians: Tests are bad!
Lobbyist for Pearson and other textbook publishers: Dear candidate, are you sure these tests are bad? Our business is the one writing the tests. By the way, here’s a campaign contribution.
    Politicians: Tests are awesome!
    Teachers: No!
Politicians: Why students doing badly on tests? We should add tests to solve this.

In short, textbook publishers are making too much money on tests that haven’t improved anything. But they keep the tests because of lobbyists, even though cutting the number of tests in half would probably improve things.

    1. Adults should be tested ! If they only knew what the Constitutional Ammendments are about, Trump would not have won !!!

    1. and martin luther king eas a democratic socialist just like bernie is. bernie is trying to continue his great legacy

  11. Bernie is the ONE. News channels should be covering him just as much as they cover the impeachment proceedings!
