  1. Much like Jackie Robinson, Hank Aaron had to strive for greatness on the field, while white America attacked him off the field. Dude is a legend. Rest in Peace. 🙌🙏

    1. @truth troll He was entertainment, not an equal. Sadly, that sentiment is still alive and well in some segments of America.

    2. @truth troll Fear yes, but I’m also reminded of that quote, which I’ll paraphrase. “The poorest white man will be happy with their place as long as they have a black person to look down on.”

  2. Just pure class what a pleasure it has been to watch his talent and humility thank you Hank Aaron Rest in Peace 🕊️

    1. Ok, you take that v—, encouraging other black people to take it. 17 days later you’re dead 🤔. Glad I already encouraged myself to not take it to begin with.

    1. @Jesse Diaz I am OK, but I am feeling really sad. However, the older I get, the more pains I have. It’s probably like that for everybody, and since he died in his sleep, hopefully he’s in heaven getting a hero’s welcome

  3. All of my hero’s are leaving my life. It is almost too much to take. RIP MY HERO!!! LOVE TO HENRY’S FAMILY.

  4. hank aaron’s heyday was a little before my time but i did see his hr that broke babe ruth’s record ( bonds does not own the hr record as all BB fans would agree, it belongs soley to mr hank aaron) ..from all accounts a kind man and a class act..a true southern gentleman! rip mr aaron..

  5. Hammering Hank , they call him that bc of his consistency of his hitting talents , not only bc of his HR’s , but his records of Base Hits , Doubles , Triples , RBI’s , Batting Average , No Doubt Aaron is the Greatest Baseball Hitter of All Time , Glad to see the Braves Honored him by Appointing Hank to Vice-president in the Braves Organization Decades ago , Thank You for the Many Great Memories Henry Aaron : RIP SIR

  6. This man seems to be the definition of a Gentleman, just as Rep Elijah Cummings and Rep John Lewis should be remembered. In his own way, intentional or now, Hank Aaron did a great service for civil rights and racial equity, just by being himself.

  7. Just lost Phil Niekro and now the Hammer Hank Aaron. He had the quickest wrists known in baseball. No secret plus he was built strong and broad shoulders.
