@Elie M We have a need to go further than that right now based on people’s behavior. That behavior is the amount of time we have spent online per day that has increased in the last 5-10 years. Of course people go through more than one depression, is that not based somewhat on what people experience online?
The worst about it? If a person is suffering with depression, most people in his life will leave him/her, friends stop being friends, and just abandon them. This is the most tragic thing, since it only makes it worse…
Every place in the world sucks with handling mental health. No venting, help, support, or trying to help self improvement.

While driving down the road in my home state 15+ years ago I see a suicide prevention hotline billboard. Literally the next sign down the road was a Nike billboard featuring a shoe and their infamous “Just do it”. So just call the hotline, or just do it? It lasted about a week before the Nike sign was relocated about two miles down the road.

That’s crazy. I wonder if someone called and notified the sign company. I understand the mistake but geez you your mind you like just give me a sign and literally there were two signs..

My best friend slipped through my hands, and took his life.. Depression is ugly, and all consuming.. I missed key signs looking back, but he perfected looking happy.. God Rest The Souls Of Those Lost To Suicide..

@Eddie Washington Sorry for your loss.. Garnett lives in my soul, as I hope your friend does you.. There was a long time I got pissed at how selfish he was with his life.. Now its all about the trouble we would get into as kids.. First dates, jobs, the birth of my twin boys, his daughter.. I am 36, and that was 6yrs ago now.. Having a child with clinical depression is one of the scariest and hardest things to go through. My heart goes out to him.

Prince also suffered from Depression. It’s never talked about. I also lost a loved one, being my Father due to Mental Illness. Had the stigma not been there in his younger years he’d be here today holding his Granddaughter. I am a Mental Health worker and advocate for MI. Untreated MI and drink/ drugs is how one self medicates. All my heart and love to your son and family. We will fight.
Plz, reconsider if you’re thinking of suicide. You take a part of your family with you when you die. My heart breaks for his Dad and the rest of his family and friends.

It’s sad because we have so many newly tested cannabinoids that have been shown to treat depression.

I’m a 61 year old parent, and I don’t know the gentleman but this is about bringing me to tears,I would fuking fall apart if my son or daughter committed suicide… I’m just telling it like it is. Peace be with you brother

That’s the key. Here you had a man that loved his craft so much because it made so many people happy and yet inside he was still not happy. I think his management saw the signs and ignored them because there was just too much greed and money at play. We’ll always love you Tim……❤️
