  1. I don’t think stolen vehicles are worth what they were before getting stolen. Re-evaluate maybe. LawL.

    1. @Isa A you should know the ignorance and equivalent of what you just said is like saying “my dad works here I know secret info” you obviously don’t know anything about exports and imports especially dealing with unique goods that are no sold in other countries due to said manufactures not selling or have logistics set up in those nations. So luxury items offer better prices and no one the wiser about the identification of said vehicles. Relax and sit down little child.

  2. My neighbours Lexus SUV was stolen here in Oakville. Got it all on video tape but still nothing. Cameras don’t deter these thieves. That’s why I drive an old car. Sometimes I leave the keys in and windows open but still no luck. Nobody wants it.

    1. Yes sir, drive a beater, but if you could lawfully defend the nice high end car, it would be different.

  3. To properly secure your car add a steering wheel lock, remove the battery and 3 of the wheels. If we actually threw criminals in jail in this country we might deter crime.

    1. @onlythewise1 I hate thieves. They are too scared to get off drugs and get a job or training. Much easier to steal other people’s hard earned stuff.

    1. notice how its shipped to Africa and Middle East, what do you think are the “hot” vehicles are down there?

    2. because Lexus is one of the best vehicles in terms of build quality, reliability, and is amongst the best when it comes to resale value too.

  4. Police say the suspects would enter the vehicle and reprogram the ignition computer, allowing it to be driven away using a new key fob.

The vehicles were driven directly to the Port of Montreal or loaded into a sea container in Toronto and transported to Montreal by rail. The containers were then loaded onto ships and sent overseas.

Cresswell said additional vehicles are believed to be at sea and en route to destinations.

The GTA residents facing charges include Toronto residents Ali Reda Jaafar, 21, Baljinder Singh, 26, and Mohamed Hamadi, 20, and Mississauga residents Mohamed Mohamed, 24, and Mohammed Baraki, 33.

Others charged are Mohd Paiman Ishaqzai, 25, of Vaughan, Shaaththvegan Ravichandran, 21, of Oshawa, Hassan Ismail, 37, of Ajax, Ahmed Al Meamar, 24, of Whitby, and Charles Osuman, 33, of Brampton.

    1. @Torin Privilege: a special right, advantage, or immunity granted or available only to a particular person or group.
“education is a right, not a privilege”. I don’t see that here, sorry.
