Congress (Senate and House) is in recess while they should have been called back to initiate Articles of Impeachment or activate the 25th Amendment. Doesn’t look as if Pence is going to. Changes can’t be made in recess. Congress should have never left after certifying the election results. Should have gone straight on to Articles of Impeachment of activating the 25th Amendment. By now, the articles should be in the Senate’s hands, not sometime in the middle of next week.

@czechmate absolutely the law must be respected. No trumped up charges. I consider trumped up charges evil. Justice should be blind and fairly applied. Those who are in position and with expertise should be allowed to pursue appropriate charges irrespective of political considerations.
I do think we are dangerously close to treating this as a “boys will be boys” sort of way. That position will only encourage bigger problems.
I’ve seen cops escalate situations to life and death over issues as trivial as jay walking or loitering, so the idea that they can’t make arrest and charge firmly for this behaving is laughable.
