He has become the new Commander of the Canadian Armed Forces.
So what is this all about?
Canadian military personnel get medals for taxpayer paid trips to historic sites, in case you wondered about that ridiculous spread of medals on his jacket. My dad got one for going to Normandy to see a graveyard. He was ashamed of it, and rightly so.
