  1. Jamaican nurses are being asked to fully vaccinate themselves while seeking healthcare jobs in Virginia and Texas. 🤔. Aren’t these Republican led states anti-vaxx, anti mandate states?

    1. lol. one has to be fully vaccinated to go to America. What does this have to do with “Republican led states anti-vaxx, anti mandate states”?

    2. When these professionals go abroad they have to actually work..which they don’t do in Jamaica.
They illtreat their patients and are very abusive to families in
      Jamaica.
I actually would rather die at home than to be at the mercy of any of them in the hospitals
      in Jamaica.
Prime minister should only pay them according to their performance.
The doctors should also stop taking bribes.

People who abandon Jamaica should be exiled.

  2. Jamaica should treat their nurses better sk wouldn’t have they didn’t have to leave the pay low the condition is poor.

  3. I don’t wrong these people for seeking better wages . The government of Jamaica not providing it. Everyday something raise and the pay standstill. If the government continue with the nonsense it will only get worse!. Pay them better and they might consider staying.

  4. It is better to be racially treated and well paid by the enemies than to be badly treated and under paid by your own kind

  5. It’s not about vaccine and nurses don’t want to take it. It’s about respecting peoples careers and how they are not being paid so they can make a decent living for their family, people are tired of been under paid for their honest hard work.

    1. People we have to stop. this kind of hostility, if we’re not a part of the solution don’t be a part of the problem. People sacrifice to get a career. why should they not choose where they want to work?what me you the government are anyone for matters, did any of us pay a part in schooling those people? we need to stop going back words.

    2. migrate of course greener pastures of course why should we continue to accept government pittance wages while politicians have enormous growing stomachs missing funds and nothing comes out of it

sorry $10000 is not good enough Andrew Holness neither is 2 tin mackerel and 2 pound white rice for so called care grocery for covid

  6. There is no world without challenges as we go through life if there was perfection in earth none of us would know God we just have to be humble on our journey

  7. I’m so happy for them. I love seeing when our nurses, doctors and teachers leave for a better life. All the best

    1. Which better…this is the problem…work like donkey…until they reach they will know how wicked foreign is…the food that’s good for is dear and rubbish cheap…

    2. @Sasha Drummond It’s not a matter of vaccine dear. It was never about vax. It’s about the opportunity. The media twist it like that making it seem it’s about the vax, they would have left with or without a vaccine., is just that it is a requirement for them to leave and they took it. Honestly, I rather take it to leave for the better but not to stay here and suffer. I don’t blame them one bit, they have to do what is best for them. Jamaica does not have its citizen best interests at heart.

    3. @milli b They will find a way and God will pave it. It is better for them, it might not be better for you but it works out for many and will continue to. Go away with your negativity.

    4. @Sasha Drummond exactly, the same people who are saying “yes they should go” are going to be the same ones complaining when they are in the hospitals and aren’t getting any medical attention because the nurses are over worked and occupied.

  8. I support the nurses, they should migrate and so too should the doctors, anyone who worked in the govt hospitals know how deplorable the conditions are. Yes the wage is the main factor pushing migration but also the working conditions are just horrible. if better opportunities present itself why not jump on that? Those bashing would do the same so don’t be hypocritical.

  9. I don’t wrong them, I would probably do the same, nurses are underpaid bad bad in Jamaica and the working conditions are so poor to work in. Since the pandemic the government has done nothing to even try upgrade some of these hospitals.

  10. Whilst I’m happy for them to grab at any opportunity to better themselves I’m amazed of how they wouldn’t abide by the rules of their own country and yet they will do anything to get into another man’s country. Sigh

  11. I applaud all the Healthcare workers in this time. May the Lord give strength during this pandemic 💗💖💝
