Over 50,000 Antiguans and Barbudans will trek to polling stations today to cast their votes for a new government to manage the country’s affairs for the next five years.
Today’s poll will see voters decide whether to re-elect the United Progressive Party (UPP) for a second term or opt for the opposition Antigua Labour Party (ALP).
The Organisation for National Development (OND), the Barbuda’s People Movement (BPM) and several independent candidates will also battle for seats in Parliament.
Voting will be done at 151 polling stations situated in 56 locations in the 48 polling districts across Antigua and Barbuda.
