This teacher did something to that child. There’s no way you can left a child in a car and nuh remember the baby something else to this case.. Plenty kids in a car and kids come up so you don’t close your car doors, something fishy about this case
Don’t be so quick to judgement. The same standard you judge with will be used to judge you. While that may be the case it is best to let the investigation play out to uncover if it was negligence or something more.
I can see it happening… the teacher carelessly coming out of the car walking towards the school after telling the children to exit not turning back to look, another student closes the door, the teacher holds up her hand to lock the door with her key fob without even looking back. I have seen it in parking lots from PARENTS so just imagine a teacher who seemingly has no emotional investment. The school is careless too. How can you be having Jamaica Day and it is free for all? Teachers “believing” all the children are accounted for. This is what happens when there is no accountability. Parents make sure your children exit your vehicle safely and look around your car before you exit even if you believe your child is somewhere else. Make it a habit. We have to protect our children.

I said it when the baby died in the car a month ago and Jamaicans cuss mi. Attendance should be taken at all levels of education. If a student is absent, the parents must be contacted immediately. An alarm should then be raised if the parents say the child should be at school. We need checks and balances. This teacher obviously did not take attendance. She would have realised the error (before it was too late) that has now destroyed the lives of these young parents, grandparents and the teacher herself. Parents check your car before you lock it. Even if you believe your child is somewhere else, make it a habit.
